I'm trying to think of everything, I've even bought the extra strong pain killers for myself today so I can be more active with her without my broken body hindering me too much. Got all excited when I saw the local butcher had a big bag of chicken wing tips, perfect for a tiny puppy to chew so they're all bagged up in small portions now and into the freezer, apart from enough for a meal tomorrow. Isn't it funny the things that make us happy.

Might I be super nosy and ask where from? That sounds excellent! He has a butcher in Kew, cant remember the name of it but he has to buy large lots so it takes a bit of co-ordination from his friends as well. Maybe if you just ask your local butcher if they'd be willing to get large lots in for you.

It might be all or any of the things previously suggested or she might just have an itchy bottom. I'm sure all of us at some stage in our life have scratched our bums. :laugh:

thankyou girls for sharing in my excitement I think I've got most things ready, I was under my computer table yesterday wrestling with cords and wires to get them up off the floor, I'm looking around the place with a critical eye thinking what's a puppy going to get into that she should not. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough if I've missed anything. Her big brother Milton is going tonight so I wont see him again except if we happen to meet up for get togethers, which is quite likely. Milton will stay in the Melbourne area so hopefully they'll get to see each other sometimes.

Who knows, I think he quite likes the possibility that I might train my baby. I'm pretty sure all 3 puppies will meet up for play dates now and again.

Kibah used to come running as soon as she'd hear me snap the top of a banana. Now the poor old dear is deaf, but she can still smell them and if she knows they're in the fruit bowl she'll pester me until I give her one.

We've been trying Neko on her. Marcus is using it and calling her by it but even though I'm the one who came up with the name it's not sticking with me. It might once she comes home but perhaps another name will reveal itself.

Yeah, I am. Tomorrow will be my last puppy watch and Saturday will be the last time they're all together. I think the big boy is going on Saturday too so Widge will just have her little boy left. He seems to be her favourite anyway. Marcus has decided to keep him.

Poor beautiful little Hank. It's annoying when you do your best for your puppy but cannot predict or control what other dog owners will do. Although it's upsetting that he was so frightened he peed himself it might have protected him, because it is submissive behaviour that the other dogs would understand. If he'd been bolder they might have been aggressive.

At her 9 week weigh yesterday in my puppy weighed 1.995kgs so my thoughts are she's going to be quite small when fully grown, probably weighing a smidge under 4kgs.

Just seen these now, thanks so much Stans Mum, I didn't want the 2nd one to end. The bully is so cute too isn't she. I was visiting my baby yesterday and it's finally starting to sink in that she's coming home. I took Feather with me and she was initially horrified but eventually settled to an aloof disdain and pretended the puppies didn't exist, even when they were pattering at her ribs and trying to kiss her face. Luma is adorable I suspect my baby will be very much the same when she comes here.

how cute is that!!!! Not sure why it's in rescue, I suspect alot more people would see it in general.

I'd be keeping him as quiet and inactive as you can for now then. Dont assume because he's not limping as much it's better. If you're wondering if he's just hurt his toenail cant you see, will he let you look at it?

you're brilliant! What an amazing outcome, I dont think I would have thought to do that, but I will now if I find one. I love butcherbirds, especially the pied ones, which sadly we dont have here. I think they have the most beautiful call of all the native birds I've heard.

Oh interesting, Rommi is 11kgs now and I don't think she would have been 5.5 by 9weeks, I think she was around 3 or 3.5 at 8 weeks................will have to try and find it I will double check what Wilson was as well I'll be curious to see what my puppy weighs today.
