I'd be devastated if my whippets did that because mine now have fish and tadpoles in them. They certainly weren't bought with that in mind though.

There was a thread here recently about a doco on the BBC I think. It dealt with a woman who bred her unpapered bitch and then tried to sell the puppies. I couldn't bring myself to watch it, I found it so depressing but I know of someone who wants to breed a dog and thought it might be a great eye opener for him. Does anyone remember the thread, I've tried searching but couldn't find it. Help appreciated.

I've been comparing prices of this lens to the Canon, and there's a BIG difference in price. Does anyone here have any reports on it. I've had a look in POTN but thought I'd ask DOLers as well.

Sarsanet has one, a cute little pup called Freddie. From what I've heard they can be pretty feisty, entire males should probably only be kept for showing/breeding and working, if anyone works terriers these days as they can be brawlers from what I've been told. These were taken in October this year.

I think everyone should be scared of Santa, most kids and dogs seem to be. How often do you see a kid looking happy on his lap, most photos I've seen, the kids are screaming or crying in terror and dogs seem to be saying get me outta here with their eyes.

well keep a careful track of just how much they owe you because for 2 years in a row they've stuffed up with me. Last year they paid it, I'm still waiting for a reply on this years stuff up.

I dont sell much, it's mostly the whippet calendars at the end of the year and I give all the proceeds to "my" little whippet racing/social club. They dont pay you until you earn $20 so if I dont get the full payment this month I'll probably be waiting another year for it, and if they stuff up again, well............who knows?

I only get paid from redbubble once a year because I dont sell enough throughout the year to be paid, it's only when I sell some calendars that I accrue enough. Last year they made an error and underpaid me. I had to do a bit of talking to get them to pay me the rest owing instead of waiting another year for it. NOW IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN!! Everyone check your payments carefully, so far they're made mistakes both times with me. 100% fail rate.

the best way to avoid disappointments is to groom your own dog, regularly. If it's a breed that requires clipping, then learn to use them yourself.

What a beautiful dog! The one with the ball in his mouth looks like he's saying, "look at me, I'm a cow" with his wide round muzzle (being the ball) and curvy ear horns. Wait till you start taking action shots with good light and a fast shutter speed, then you'll really see something!!!

As far as I know, they are a grey importer. If something goes wrong within the first 12 months you have to send it to whoever they deal with, not Canon. That said, their prices are so cheap, the way I justify it is that it's almost as cheap as buying a second hand camera, but you wouldn't get a guarantee with that, but this is new. I bought mine from DWI and I haven't had a problem. Last month their prices were even lower, mid $1100's I think. When our $ rises against the Japanese yen, that's when prices come down.

I pull out what I can and pour boiling water on some. When ever I steam veggies or boil anything I go outside and drain it on the unwanted plants. I am on tank water so I have to get the most use out of water that I can. I rarely let it just run down the drain these days. I've been culling snails lately with boiling water too, it's the quickest and most humane way I can think of to kill them. I dont know what cow throp is but even is you cannot pull it out due to your disability perhaps you can at least cut off the seed heads before they mature and burn or bag them to stop it spreading.

thankyou both, I dont mind you posting these extra pics, I am very much learning about this, although I must say my interest is photographing bikes has been sparked. One problem I'm having though is that a few people asked me for photos and I just gave them away. I am now feeling disappointed because I didn't even get a thankyou. It's all I would have wanted. Now I'm thinking if someone does ask again I should charge them because it seems no one appreciates a simple kindness. I realise that creates all sorts of issues and problems for me regarding insurance and other stuff. O&Z Z I think I know where you mean. I've been walking through the double gates where the riders enter the track and then I just go straight up to that corner and move about a bit there, sometimes near the big gum tree as they're coming into that corner and sometimes more to catch them as they're coming out. My lens isn't that long though, I'm not sure how far back towards the gate I could go and still get good enough detail. If and when I go back I'll try though because I was getting a bit bored with my pics. I'll look through my pics for the green bike with black leathers but I dont think I have any.
