I think I want to buy a 7D. I've been looking online and they've come down to $2147, BUT if you add on another $40 or so in postage and consider it's a grey market camera, I am not sure it is such a good deal. I can get it for $2299 from a few retailers here, Camera World, Kirks and Greensborough and I am thinking I'd be better off doing that, at least it has the proper Canon warranty then. I just want to know if anyone can get or knows of a retailer selling it cheaper than that. Please let me know.

I am sure she will be thrilled to know you appreciate it and will put it to good use. Have fun

Far out! How amazing is that, and why haven't you put it on your camera. Wow, isn't it lucky you didn't go out and buy one eh? Big congrats to you and what a generous Secret Santa you have.

Looks like she's got a bit of Santa stuck in her teeth.

People Wonder Why I'm Scared Of Spiders...
Kirislin replied to Leithy's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
I dont know about this but I think funnel webs are most deadly to primates, oh and their prey of course, I dont think they affect cats at all. A funny thing happened many years ago, my sister and I were about to enter my flat when my flatmates cat spied a big black spider on the front door mat. Although we dont have funnel webs here it sure looked like one to me, it was doing the full on rearing up with front legs. Just as she went for it, my sister leapt forward and grabbed the cat by the tail, hoping I think to pull it away from spidey and flung it about 10ft, but at the same time the spider leapt forward and landed on the cats nose. As you can imagine there was much girly squealing. -
Oh oh tummy hurts, pain, love Frodo.............................

Tag jumping on a sand pile, if you look closely on the enlargement you can see the sand flying.

I dont know, do you think your pics can be improved upon by more expensive gear? They're pretty amazing to me. If you did buy, who would you get it off?
-
Great! I am pretty flexible although prefer not to go on Wednesdays, otherwise can probably fit around you.

gorgeous Undecided, especially the last one. I love seeing kids with dogs, and cats for that matter, when they are gentle and loving, and your little girl is. What a sweety.
-
so cute, they really love it dont they. In whippet speak, when they run with their bums tucked under like that we call them butt tuck zoomies

what a great idea for a thread Fainty Girl. There's some fantastic photos here. Here's another fail from me. It's little Jodie again. Justice those two of yours must play so rough to be colliding like that. My whippets would hate that especially with those two solid fellas. It would definitely send them running and hiding behind me.
-
this is little Jodie whippet, not mine. Kibah, up and over! big jump! Flynn

What is it about these two that make me think they'd be gay icons? They always look so good with a bit of black leather, maybe that's it.

I'll be waiting for you by the fireplace Santa.

Everyday Mr Darcy would wander down to little Miss's bedroom. She would tell him to sit and then invite him on to her bed for snuggles. They adored each other He's gorgeous, his passing must have left a huge gaping hole in all your lives.
-
This one needs to say something like "I'm waiting for you Santa" or "Please Santa, I'll be good"

Naughty Pucky eyeing off those nectarines again! ;) mmmmmm maybe that one Oh, that one looks nice too! Maybe I'll have them both! What? I was just looking.
-
Huh, how about that, they must have all been reading this thread! Love the first and last in particular Shell.

How do you use Epsom salts as a poultice?

Love the idea but the photos are a bit hard for my old eyes to see, they're so small.

A baby elephant is due to be born at the Melbourne zoo around Christmas. I was thinking it might be good to have another day there with our cameras once baby is on public display. I dont know how long that will take, whether it's just a matter of days or weeks but if/when it happens is anyone else interested in coming along? I would imagine it will be horrendously crowded though, school hols and all. Perhaps better to wait till school goes back regardless. I dont know, what do you think?

I am sure you could sell it here then, someone else would love to use it.
