I've been trying to work with Photoshop, I have a little book and I am reading it and trying to learn about the tools etc but I dont even know how to undo something once I've had a play with a photo. The only way I can is to close it, then it asks if I want to save changes so I say no. There must be a way to just undo stuff..........surely. I cant find it in the book.

do you know what the shutter speed was? to freeze motion it needs to be fast, unless you are going for the panning shot to indicate movement, where the background and part of the dog is blurred.

Loving everyones photos, to keep up with this thread you really need to check every few hours or you'll be faced with pages and pages to go through. jan 1st I tried and tried to get the lightning but all I got was this and lots of mozzie bites. I see it a bit differently because they aren't changing your original artwork/photograph, but I understand that some people feel the same as you. On a photography forum I am on when you join you can say whether or not you will allow people to edit your work. I put yes, but some say no. But again I want to say I am sure Ruger meant no offence to you. and this thread inspired me to alter my siggy.

Kringle looks a bit standardbreddy to me. I love the shot of the horses on the hill top with the clouds behind them.

Far out!! Look at them all, usually the brumbies I've seen are weedy short necked, pot bellied miserable little things. Those ones look like they'd be worth catching, and there's a roan in there too! I love roans and they so rarely seen these days. What a fantastic holiday you must have had. I'd love to go up there again, it's been about 20 years since I did a trip like that. Um I have to tell you, those curious critters in your second pic aren't brumbies

I am sure Ruger meant no offence, in fact I know she didn't. I've had people alter my pics here without asking me and to be honest I was delighted that they saw something in them and wanted to help me. I actually felt flattered. Please dont take offence, we're a friendly bunch here in Photos, and Ruger I wouldn't mind if you tweaked my pics, even though you are in the opposing camp (Nikon).

Welcoming in the New Year, my second water lily, it's the palest yellow. I am still hoping to see a pink and a red flower but I think I'll have to wait till next year for them. whoops better add the photo
