I've had this happen on occasion with both males and females and it's usually after a particularly strenuous day where they go to sleep really tired. I put it down on those odd occasions to them just being really tired, and like little kids, they wet the bed when they were just too tired to wake up. Is it possible that's what's happened to Tilly?

I always feel bad that because of my phobia spiders, have to die if they come in my house. White tails I feel no remorse for but huntsmans yes. I would like to be able to leave them alone but I tried it once only to wake up with it walking on me. My clever girl Kibah knows I am scared of spiders and also must have an instinctive knowledge they might hurt her. She leaps in and snaps them and throws them several times until they're senseless, them gobbles them up with relish! :rolleyes:

I've only just read this whole thread, I can imagine and almost feel your disappointment. It's your decision but I will say I wanted a whippet puppy from a particular breeder. I first saw his whippets in 1995 and it wasn't until 2000 that I eventually got one. From the time I actually made approaches to say I wanted a puppy it was close to 12months before I finally got her, my beautiful Kibah. I never regretted the wait. It might take you a while before you get a pup from this breeder and you might even get another pup from someone else in the meantime, but I hope you eventually get one from them too.

I took a view from a loo too! While visiting a friend a few months ago. Not as good as yours but dogs are the same all over.

I would be very VERY surprised to hear of a borzoi with elbow or hip displasia although I suppose it's not impossible. I wonder if it's more likely something to do with growth spurts. I hope your little man is feeling better this morning, it can be very lonely sitting up in the middle of the night worrying about your puppy. I think I'd be more likely to try to find someone more familiar with sighthounds, or at the very least, greyhounds, and yes keep in touch with the breeder too.

Tuesday just gone, lots of activity at our off lead park. Yep I can fully understand why you are so thrilled with them. I would be too, I wish she'd come down here and take pics of my crew. She sure is talented.
