Hey both of these are really good! I think the kissy one is really cute, and romantic, of course. I am not sure how in focus the "star struck" lovers are, although it could be my early morning eyes. I love the concept, can you have a few more tries at it and see if you can get any that are sharper than it. and Ravyk, yours looks like we're seeing through a water droplet or something, it's brilliant. I dont have the imagination to do stuff like you guys. I say enter them both and good luck to you!

I think my whippets were partly responsible for making such a large brood and I hope/think it's for the better as far as the little ducklings go. There was a family of about 6 ducklings with their parents on the lake and the rest of this lot were swimming aimlessly alone near the bank. I think they've lost their parents. My whippets all stood looking eagerly at the lost looking ones and the parents of the other brood seemed to have their parenting instincts aroused and started calling to the babies. I think they have a better chance of survival now, I counted 17 ducklings.

OH YEAH!!!!!!! LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!! thankyou! It was last week, I was trying to get sunrise pics, plus I was practicing Ash's backlighting and then the bokeh, I was covering a few bases, Oh and of course just getting a photo of my pretty girl who recently turned 25.

I took these last week but didn't think they'd make the grade, although I like the effect the bokeh hood gives. I'd like one in the shape of running whippets!! the snail's not even properly focussed. I need a steadier hand, he was just too fast for me.

Love the photos. Maybe Chopper needs more run up to get further. The pointer looks to be covering the most distance with his funny style of walking on water. My whippet Tag could do this I think. I dont know if they have it in Victoria though. I've seen pics of it in the US before, it's popular over there.

Is Centre weighted what is also referred to as spot metering?

I just spotted this little fella in my garden a few minutes ago while I was on Poo Patrol. Uh oh! I think she's seen me! and instead of flying ducks, this is permanently on my kitchen wall. When I lived in Nth Qld I had the real ones.

I am amazed, I thought I came up with this original idea and I was generously sharing it. hahahaha I better go and look.

I doubt I will do these so I'll tell the idea I was thinking of trying with the 100's & 1000's maybe someone else can get a good shot. I wanted to stick some on a dogs nose and get a shot before they licked them off. In my mind I had visions of a cross eyed dog looking at these things on its nose. When I tried all my whippets had dry noses that day and they wouldn't stick. I also sprinkled some around and took photos of ants carrying them away, they weren't very good either.

Bindi Boo after all your recent heartbreak loosing Bindi you dont deserve to be going through this. You do not need to apologise for anything. I am sorry the joy of getting your new puppy has now been overshadowed by this sad sorry story of where she came from. She is a beautiful puppy no matter where she started her life, and I wish you both many happy years together.

I love frogs! I used to live in Queensland, the frogs and the pied butcher birds were the best part about it.
