  1. The reason was some sentences in your previous posts (especially the third sentence) : I called the vet that gave her the needle and they said they are unsure why it’s not growing back at the same rate as the rest of her hair and that it should be. Vet also confirmed it is not scar tissue. The vet was so unhelpful but said there is no reason why it wouldn’t be growing back If it was ringworm wouldn’t the vet notice it. And you would think the vet would of noticed it was there when she shaved her leg The reason I suggested the UV light was to do a home-check to save you going back and there are pretty good ointments you can purchase at the chemists had it been ringworm
  2. To save going to the vet (and he thinking you are a double numpty) buy a UV light and test for ringworm yourself, an Australian seller on ebay may have an el-cheapo A Wood's lamp is an ultraviolet light with a specific wavelength of light which causes some strains of M. canis (the most common feline ringworm species) to fluoresce. ... Some medications will fluoresce if they are on the hair coat, including doxycycline, Clavamox, and eye ointments.

  14. Henry (and before Henry it was Mac) is on Propalin and doing well on it, my vet said to give it to Wee Maxi also, when the old boy got up from resting or just standing, the pee would drip out of him like a leaky tap. I decided to try putting him on Incontinence Mix first here then Incontinence Support as maintenance, it works really well (I can't find the Incontinence Support on the McDowell website so you may need to email them to ask when you have finished the first bottle). Wee maxi gets 10 drops on his food morning and night and I'm pretty happy with it. It'd definitely be wort contacting them to get further info B
  15. they just look so idiotic when they play, so uncoordinated the silly buggers
  16. love the little photo-bombing goat in the first piccie
  17. Yes @sandgrubber I could have done the same and spent thousands with my girl but it would only have given her 3-8 months and she would have had a long recovery from her surgery, we sometimes just need to say goodbye sooner than (not much) later. I do feel for you and know the hell you are going through Libby but I think you know what you need to do soon
  18. I wasn't aware of that 'rule' @asal Who in their right mind would think such an incredibly stupid idea? ps is '12 moths' the same as 1 year? lol
  19. link to Arizona State University study here https://asunow.asu.edu/20200528-discoveries-yes-your-dog-wants-rescue-you In the movies, the hero is buried underground in a box. He cries for help. What to do. His best friend, a dog, hears him calling for help. The dog seems to understand the man is in despair. He stars digging, the true hero of the film. Are dogs really like this? Researchers from Arizona State University tried out this scenario in real life, with 60 pet dogs and their owners. None of the dogs were trained in search and rescue. Ready to brave the wild and rescue his owner … or maybe just rugged up against the cold. Photo: Getty According to a statement from university: In the main test, each owner was confined to a large box equipped with a lightweight door, which the dog could move aside. The owners feigned distress by calling out “help,” or “help me” Beforehand, the researchers coached the owners so their cries for help sounded authentic In addition, owners weren’t allowed to call their dog’s name, which would encourage the dog to act out of obedience, and not out of concern for their owner’s welfare. The researchers say that about one-third of the dogs rescued their distressed owner. But after taking various factors into account, it turned out that 84 per cent of the digs wanted to rescue their owners. To read more, go to Arizona State University. Woof!
