  1. Thanks OSo, she's due for a checkup soon so I'll get them to scan her. :)
  2. Zoe's chip starts with those numbers but was implanted prior to 2010. Should I rechip her? Are they rechipping all dogs or just those that don't work?
  3. I could imagine a vaccination causing some sort of reaction at the entry site but not on the face, how weird!
  4. I have had snaps but no bruises in both categories. Nacho killed a dove.
  5. Same. There are a few off leash parks but none of them are fenced and they're all near fairly busy roads. Not worth the risk for me.
  6. Rarely. Moose has good recall, Zoe is too old and slow to go far  but Nacho's puppy brain overrides all sense of reason and makes him deaf when we are out and about. I don't think I'll ever trust him off leash TBH!
  7. Did the other lady's dog ingest the actual plastic stick? That would likely cause injury. I wouldn't worry if it was just a bit of the glue. :)
  8. Nawww one is looking very content, the other looking a bit suspicious.
  9. Haha I just noticed he has his tongue out in that photo!! What a jerkdog.
  10. Lol cute, that's how Nacho sleeps in his crate. He looks like a little kid that's kicked the covers off.
  11. LOL Diva, not so subtle message about how she felt about your gift? I wish I found Kongs in the garden! I don't know where they disappear to?
  12. I started cataloguing all the places I was finding Nacho's toys after the "crocodile at the swimming hole" incident. He's one special dog! :D Where do you find your dogs toys? Here's some more memorable finds... "Bitey" in the dog bowl, cow on the crate, squirrel on the pillow and sheep in the pantry.
  13. Moose in my bed, Nacho in a crate next to the bed. :) Zoe sleeps in someone else's bed.
  14. I've been feeding it for years, no complaints here. :)
  15. Oops sorry you're right, I got confused between Advocate and Advantage. I did flea shampoo only because I didn't find any actual fleas but do what works for you. :)
  16. Interceptor doesn't cover fleas so should be fine. I've only once found flea dirt (but no fleas ) so I just washed them with a flea shampoo and hot washed bedding and it seemed to get rid of it.
  17. I think what you have there is a common breed variation... Chiparrot. I have one myself. Keeps my neck warm. :D
  18. I very rarely use collars and my dogs don't wear them on a day to day basis but it's mostly aesthetic, I like a non rumpled neck. :D Moose does tend to gag a bit when walking in a collar, even when not pulling, so I only walk in harnesses. Poor article IMO and not well researched.
  19. Nacho was mental before his op. Nacho is still mental after his op.
  20. LIES!!!!!! *looks at Nacho* It's extremely rare for a dog not to make it through a neuter/spey op, she'll be fine (whenever you decide to do it). :)
  21. I kind of expect my dog food to not be mooing as I dish it out. aww come on, you should let your chis hunt, it's more natural and a healthy option. Bahaha the only hunting my dogs do is in their toy box.
  22. I kind of expect my dog food to not be mooing as I dish it out.
