to you Poor fella, I hope things goes smoothly for him. Having an injured or ill dog is really a heart breaking situation. Best thing you can do now is just concentrate on his recovery... prepare his crate at home, research some games you can entertain him with and stuff like that.

2 dogs with a smaller yard... have to do it everyday. Charlie is a pooing machine

You just pay for membership? Does the dog/owners have to require to do some sort of test to get a membership? Anyone who has a dog can fork out money for membership to use a private park doesn't mean they are responsible dog owners, therefore, people will have the same issues with dog fights, human fights etc, owners who have no control of their dogs.

With Em I don't worry so much but with Charlie, I have too. Sometimes he goes swimming, and in the middle of the pool (or lake).. he will suddenly stop swimming. So he can slowly starts stinking or floats away (cause he wears a life jacket)... he has too much trust in me.

i don't like the saying "small dog syndrome"... they are just dogs! Things are scarier when you're little.. everything to them is my huge, so of course they are going to be more on guard. But, that's my personal opinion. I wouldn't worry about it.. comments like that are annoying, but easily shrugged off. I have 2 little ones and both of them are fine with other dogs. Emmy will be more incline to be more reactive and if a dog gets into her face (big or small) she will tend to let them know that she doesn't like... Charlie ignores dogs he doesn't like.

Confident Attitude Drivy Affectionate Independent Charlie is all this. He is ideal dog.

the beds in the bedroom (there is also a big crate in the bedroom too) But.. this is where you will see them sleeping most of the time ETA: Charlie and Emmy does have a lot of other beds around the house too... these guys have a pretty sweet life :D

As from this week... Emmy, I do myself. But, her nails doesn't grow all that fast. Charlie, I take him to the vets to do. He is funny with people touching his feet now with an object. I can hold his feet but if I try to cut the fur around his paws or cut his nails, it's a huge fight! Luckily, his nail doesn't grow fast either. He gets his nail done about 1 every 2 months or so.
