W Sibs

Aww ok. I would love some small guys to come and play with my pint-sized pugs! When do you come back W Sibs, AND WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN YOU THERE!! lol im there very saturday... and usually there all summer :)... Monash is EXCELLENT in the mornings now with the installation of the fence!! even though im pretty sure its not a dog park but its very appropriate. We go really random times.. but usually weekend around sunset time. I'm pretty sure we have bumped into each other and don't know it and we usually keep to ourselves at the park though. If you see a tall white guy or a small asian girl with a CKCS x (usually one of us is holding his tail so he can run or he is getting carried) and a Jap Spitz running around. Now, we have Skeeter the Samoyed puppy too... yeah, that's us.

The crate in her room is a good idea. He doesn't have to sleep on the bed with her, but he can sleep in the same room with her. It's still sweet, the bond between child and dog :) As for the dog sleeping together effecting a pack... nah, I don't think so. My bitch sleeps on the bed with me, my oldest boy sleeps on the floor on his own bed and a pup who sleeps on the floor too. Sometimes with the oldest boy, but most of the time on the wooden floors because it's cooler, and my 3 seems to have a pretty solid bond with each other.

Poor pup is just probably feeling sick, scared and confused.

:laugh: but it's so amazing that you have to watch it at least 3 times :p when i was watching it, i was like, thank god he isn't my dog, there is no fence high enough for that guy. But i love watching a dog doing amazing stuff :)

I own Spitz breeds and they get along with GSD really well. They also get along with bull breeds too. Emmy has a fondness for Border collies and Kelpies. She is very good at changing her style in playing with other dogs, and matching their energy level.

My goal with my dogs is to enjoy them. If that is to show with them, get them into sports or simply just going camping or chilling out at the couch. It's simply enjoying them.

Some dogs aren't food motivated? Try rewarding with play or tug or something else. Or try higher value food like roast chicken or cheese. Cheese is a religion at my house with the dogs.

Depends if they have to put your dog under or not. With GA is more expensive (need more care, fluid, etc). Charlie's xrays cost me from $160 to $230 (it depends on where he gets the xray done). He doesn't need to go under, he knows the drill.

I understand what you're saying, but unfortunately we do live in a world where people like to blame other people for their mistake and start civil case. And you don't want to be on the end of the stick where you are the one getting blamed or have a law suit slapped on you.

Some parents are silly. Em doesn't like kids but for some reason parents always tell their kids to come pat her. She is cute, looks sweet and is all fluffy. I always say no and walk away. I hear them calling me rude and stuff when I do that. I remember when Charlie was a puppy and he was walking off leash on the park, there was a family with a little girl and the girl screamed when she saw Charlie, and the parents were laughing and saying 'Run quickly. the dog is going to bite you. Quickly run'. Good thing Charlie had good recall and I called him back, so we walked the other direction.

Emmy doesn't like black labs. She knows the difference too. We can be walking off leash at the beach and she will stop one, and she runs back to me and I look around and see a black lab and she stays by my side till she feels safe again to wonder.

Charlie has a dog stroller. He has no bones on his lower back but going out on walk with his family makes him happy... so what's the big deal about dogs having a stroller? Why be confused for? :p also.. does he look abused?

I like my space when I walk my dogs, and I give space to other people when I see they walking their dogs. Regardless if their dog is friendly or whatnot. I don't even think about it anymore, I just do it. But with your situation, I will be mad at the people and not the breed. I hope your sister's dog is ok.. poor thing. Emmy is not fond of black labs due to 2 over friendly puppies knocked her around when they wanted to play with her. She keeps a distance from black labs now, but she won't go near them.

My boys loves fruit. They like apples, but prefers oranges.

Tarban Creek is the usual Dog Park I take my crew. I would come this Saturday but I'm heading down to Canberra. Next time :)

Problem solved... a neighbour has a Jap Spitz also and has been escaping the yard. The neighbour thought it was Emmy. The other dog was wearing a green collar and that dog is shaved while Emmy is fluffy and everything Emmy's is pink.
