I bought an orange and blue chuck-it ball for my MIL's Frenchie because he is a serial ball killer, and he has had it for about 4 months now with no damage done!

I just went to check on her and she must have been cold, because she has made herself a little nest! ROFL!!

I couldn't find Pia tonight so went searching, and found her like this.

Haha that is so cute!!

I take it she is dog aggressive then? Poor girl. :D I love Aussies.

He is a puppy, and a staffy puppy - he is going to be a bit insane! LOL! Get him into some decent obedience training ASAP and if possible, get someone reputable to come to your house and show you some tips for around the home.

So does that mean if I love my dogs, and don't sell them for profit, its OK for me to BYB?

I remember hearing him once on the radio - a lady called up because their 10 week old JRT puppy was nipping. His answer? PTS. Its only a matter of time before it escalates!! WTF??? Its a 10 week old terrier!! Of course its going to nip!! Idiot.

No, I was referring to this comment.

Urgent Foster Carer Required Before Saturday

I could have a pup Chewwy, but adult dogs just don't really fit in here anymore. -
Ooh we might have to come along to this. I might bring Pia.

The owner is the only one at fault here. The photo is terrible - it hardly shows the true condition of the dog - and I really don't think anyone can know exactly what was wrong and what other issues it had. And whoever said the RSPCA probably didn't feed her - come on. The RSPCA is not some monster, it is an organisation made up of hundreds (thousands?) of employees and volunteers. Every single employee I've ever met has been a true animal lover. The animals are cared for in the best way possible while at the shelter. Don't be so ridiculous to claim that nobody would feed or care for this dog while it was at the shelter.

Purina's "information" On Feeding Bones To Dogs
Kirty replied to Whippetsmum's topic in General Dog Discussion
My dogs are decent sized and they really damage the bones. I buy the big cow leg bones and they end up chewed down to just a 20cm stump. -
Purina's "information" On Feeding Bones To Dogs
Kirty replied to Whippetsmum's topic in General Dog Discussion
My dogs get large bones regularly and they have brilliant teeth. My oldies are 9 and 10 and no shattered teeth here? Dogs teeth were designed to crunch bones. I do know many vets and nurses who refuse to feed bones though after seeing horrible things at work... -
That's the thing, the dog was behaving beautifully until she started man-handling it!

I have in the past aborted pregnant cats that I've taken in. Its a horrible decision to have to make, but when I look at the pounds overflowing with unwanted cats and dogs and puppies and kittens, I know its the responsible thing to do. Yes, puppies and kittens are cute and it can be fun. But raising a litter is damn hard work. It is also very expensive and very draining for the mother. An emergency c-section (which is very common with these tiny dogs) can set you back over $1000. And then what happens with the pups? Will you desex them before they are rehomed to prevent this happening to anyone else? Sorry, I know it sucks but I would be desexing her ASAP and aborting the pups. If you can barely tell she is pregnant, they will be nothing more than tiny blobs.

Put my name down then.

Do you only want reg'd breeders participating?

What the hell was she trying to make it do??? The poor dog looked very confused?? I have never seen a judge be rough with a dog like that, and why was she trying to hang its legs off the table?
-
Well I probably would have done the same thing (I wouldn't have let my kids though). The rangers here will not come unless you have contained the dog already. I once called them because a little JRT was running on a main road, causing all kinds of hassle and trying his hardest to get run over, but they wouldn't come unless I caught him. Its pretty standard in Vic.

I found this link, its about Collies but I'm guessing the symptoms would be the same if it was related to the ivermectin. I'd keep an eye on her and take her to the vet in the morning. If she gets any worse though, take her to an emergency vet. http://www.ehow.com/list_6018407_collie-iv...y-symptoms.html

That's just it Kirislin. The dogs have never shown any interest in them at all, and the rabbits have never shown any interest in escaping before.

All of the Aussie's I've met have had the same issues and more as the British. I thought the whole point was to create a healthier version of the British.
