I will only tape the jump on weakly so if he gets caugt the tape will snap.

We have spare vacum hose pipe that I am going to duct tape in a circle. Then I am going to get two star pickets (metal fence posts) bang them apart the right distance and duct tape the hoop to them. I will get a proper one eventually but I need one asap.

Tomorow besides Lab grooming I will be making a tyre jump. I would check the one on the website is regulation size, the poles look like they would snap so I would just be getting it for the hoop part.

I really want to do retrieving but it is on a sunday at the same time as obedience so thats a no go for me, plus if retrieving involves anything off lead at the moment I will just get frustrated and not go back, Mason isnt ready to do much offlead. He is a bit of a wild child right now if other dogs are all off lead, he just wants to play. Retrieving only has 3 more mornings then breaks for over a month. I am taking Lincoln and just getting him used to the noise, action, water and playing with some bumpers. As for a DOL obidience club that would be awesome! Except we could make it like puppy/pre sports in one group, then serious obidience and agility. Then socialising for owners Hmmmm could that be done?

In the agility nationals handout it makes Canine Grounds sound like an offlead dog park!

I missed it because I had to go into work at 9. I will absolutely not work this week so I will be there. I don't know if I have the interest/passion that training a dog to do retrieving takes, but will go and have a look.

I am having such an average day! The water is out here and my parents put down chook poo in the garden so Lincoln has eaten like half a kilo of sand! I am having a busy week this week too! Agility tonight, probably show class tomorow, Jumping Trial Wednesday, maybe obidience Thursday, agility friday, DOL meet Sat and Retrieving training and a show Sun!!!!

Ness you are in the WA thread enough to warrant moving Rubystar I only have 3 jumps and a tunnel. Oh and half a broad that isn't painted yet. And I have been doing agility on and off since 2005

Lincoln will bark at a dog he likes to get attention. I don't allow it outside of my house though. Saying that I can only think of 3 dogs outside my own dogs he 'likes' enough to want thier attention.

But seriously I would have been so annoyed. It's just rude, if your dog is peeing on people at least put it on a leash! Childern are so much shorter then us and could cop pee in the face, not pleasant.

I think I will probably get the world record of longest gap between a pass in JD and AD. Toby has no contacts/ weaves at all.

Virgin has fares from Perth to Adelaide for $110 one way until midnight tonight! It would probably cost that much in petrol to some country shows!!!

Don't have one at home. Once we have done the tyre once he remembers it but that first time I have to lure him. However we may be going to agility tonight and I am considering making a tyre jump today.

I will probably be a paid spectator! I am hoping the course is one of those super easy ones that is like a U shape and you just do the obstacles in a line Toby will run if its like that but its likely that he will refuse at the tyre.

Mirawee would you fly? I would love to go just to see other Chessies and would take Lincoln if its not too costly.
