So just to clarify for NSW, you can have them with no muzzle onlead if they have been tested, but if you take them to an offlead are they must put a muzzle on? Sounds bloody stupid, they are either ok or not, i have met many swf onlead that should be muzzled  I have fostered a few greys and love them, one day i will get another when i have a big enough yard for grey zoomies. we have church land behind us ( now built on), but when it was open i took one grey round there to run ( flame suit on, don't care :D ), and it took my breath away watching him run.

Yes i do seem to attract the broken ones  Bonn has been off her meds since Sunday, so now its a wait and see if she crash's again, should know in the next few days. She came back black last night from our walk after playing hard with a black lab pup who wrestled as hard as her, they chose the edge of the stormwater runnoff caked in black sludge to do it in!

Great pics, they really are clowns  His ears may never come up, my last 2 bullies ears didn't, but i prefer them like that, apparantly its common these days.

Oh he was lovely. My heart breaks for you to be losing another dear old soul so soon. Take care.

i have mine all on martingale's, it gives more control without strangling them.

He's a Bull Terrier, and he's testing you already. When i got my last one she would throw herself on the verge when she had had enough of walking and refuse to budge. I tried the dragging, but a dog built like a brick is impossible  I started NILF with her, and also when i thought she was about to do it, i checked her and moved her along quickly so she couldn't. As her training in NILF progressed she stopped doing it. Look up the book "when pigs fly". bullys are a terrier, they are bred to think for themselves, they are not a breed to look to you for instructions , they want to know whats in it for them. :)

Get a good trainer, don't just look one up, there are way too many bad ones who will do more harm than good. Buy a run for the garden?
-
ok, i can do it then, Bonn is normally awake by 4pm and raring to go, she's not a morning person

Any idea how long you would be needed in the afternoon? I was thinking my bully would be ideal she is so chilled, she did pass the temp test for the gov training in schools job, i just declined the position myself due to commitments with the kids. Would she scare them tho? I don't own a crate either, but know she likes them, she goes in and flops down everytime she see's one

thanks, with my vet bills lately i won't risk it. roo is so expensive.

I am trying to source a reasonable price for roo meat. I can get it for $5 a kg roll unfrozen, or $20 for 5kg, but it comes frozen which is too big to stay fresh long enough. Can i buy it frozen, thaw it ,and refreeze it in smaller portions again, or not recommended?

Bonn is short for Bonnerville.( motorbike). Ozzie, after Ozzie Osbourne. Appollo, just like it. Razzle , after the drummer in Hanoi Rocks. Roadie, liked the name. Muttley, after Dick Dastardly's dog.

Just make sure you call first to see whose on, you generally have to sit and wait, and Bair and Matt normally have lots waiting to see them, i know Blair does have days when he takes appointments. -

Another vote for Quakers hill vet ( not the one on the parkway, there are 2). They have a few vets there, my pref is Blair , everyone has a different opinion on who they like there. They are a no nonsense, won't charge for stuff you don't need vets, plus you get to see lots of greys when Blair or Matt is on, they take up the carpark! -
I have 3 of my own after stopping fostering to give mine some more time. I have had 6 then. It depends on the dogs, i have had really easy combinations, and hard ones too. I actually would like to go down to 2, however no idea how i will do that as there are 3 breeds ( at least)i would always like to own

I can only give you my experience with my dogs. My dally will chase a cat or rabbit that runs out in front of him, when i had my Wei aswell they were more determined and would chase for longer , the Wei caught a cat once, and they both when younger caught many bunnies. Now after my dally has lost the chase he will backtrack and spend age's retraceing the scent. None of them chase swf, and are actually rock solid with other dogs. My cattle has had bunnies flushed out in front of him and done nothing. I trust my dogs 100% with other dogs and people , i don't believe its related at all.

DD, the first white bully is a mini, i thought its head was a bit too big. I liked the standards ( they look more like they should be, not like some of the monsters around). I thought the Lab, Pug and Mal were way too fat. The Weim and Dally looked tucked up and odd? My sis has a Beagle in the states ,papered, and its so short it looks like a cross with a basset. The state of GSD's is a disgrace.

If he has flea's you need something that will kill the whole cycle. Capstar tablets, then a spot on like Advocate, wash all the bedding too. Check you can give them to pups that young. Can you actually see flea's? He may have a skin allergy? blues are prone to skin problems.

Has anyone tried thew place at MT Druitt yet? I want to feed my lot roo but can't get a good price for it round here, the rolls in the petshops are $5 for 800g.
-
My dally can't have red meat as he is a stone former, hence the chicken. When i started to feed Bonn VANS last year ( due to skin issue's), i did start off with roo meat as its what they recommend, but its really expensive, so changed to chicken. I then switched the other 2 from the Advance to chick mince, necks and VANS and they all love it. Perhaps i should just give her and Ozzie roo meat, and my dall chicken.

One of my dogs is sick atm, and the vet has changed her onto a low fat diet atm till we get to the bottom of it. ( Supercoat, lite and mature). i have had to mix a bit of the tinned in aswell to get her to eat it, and the poo is lots more and not very firm. Anyway, i was wondering if the diet i am feeding them all is too fatty? They get a wing or drumstick for brekky. At night they get chicken mince ( pet grade), VANS, and 2/3 nscks each. Am i feeding too much fat do you think?

She had her second ultra sound yesterday. The protrusion on the spleen is still there. The other area next to the pancreas is still there, but not as much fliud there, which is good apparantly. She is back to normal, but still on both sets of meds. So we are going to continue them for another 2 weeks, then stop and see if she goes down again, if she does its either go in, or biopsy. she is also on a lowfat diet, which is crap supercoat, so lots of poo which i hate. Fingers crossed its not something sinister which the meds are masking.

I thought alot of the dogs looked unsure, tails between their legs. I liked the bullys, nice and even looking, i didn't know they had different class's for coloured ones, seems a bit odd.
