  1. They're fantastic Mim!! I've just moved across country and so trying to get life sorted out. I've been in touch with Joe and had the email to pay, but where I'm staying at the moment has crappy Internet reception, so I'll do it at the end of the week.
  2. I used to go to Springfield Lakes Pet and Vet. The team was wonderful with all of my animals and they used to give a CCCq discount.
  3. I can't help with the housing, but agility, try Qld Agility and Jumping Dog Club. They train at Durack.
  4. Thanks for all of your suggestions, I'm looking at them all. I'm still liking Joe and have emailed him and just waiting to hear back from him.
  5. It reads fantastic!! Is there any chance of doing a email subscription, so you know when the next one is out??
  6. We went to one while we were up in Tindal (Katherine) and one of the crackers headed into the crowd and then the car park. We left and didn't attend any more after that, with young kids then it was just too scary.
  7. Mim Joe's is the sort of art I am after, how do I get hold of him?
  8. After seeing Corrie's sketches (and please don't get me wrong, I think they're fantastic, you just have so many to do now, that its not fair to jump on board;) ) it reminded me, that I've got to have my current fur kids done. So the question is, who do people recommend??
  9. There's a lady who lure courses her dogs and she works cattle with them.
  10. Letting everybody know, I followed every bodies advice. I ordered and BPaid for it on the weekend, Angela rang me Sat arvo to tell me they didn't have one of the ones I ordered, so I told her to change it for what she recommended. My money went through Monday and they posted the same day, it was here in Brissy in Thurs post. Fantastic service and the product was exactly what I wanted!!
  11. I looked after a dog for someone for 12 months. All vet costs were taken care of and I was paid something each week for her food and upkeep. It hurt giving her back after 12 months, but as a family we knew it was coming. It worked.
  12. Thanks All put my order through tonight.
  13. Can anyone recommend where to get Vet Bed from, I'm probably needing about 7 meters.
  14. It looked fantastic!! Loved the lappie puppy she was cute.
  15. Lisey Our next day is at Kuraby on the 16th June. To enter email the race secretary (on the website above) and come along and join us and have a lot of fun. It seems to be a club with not a lot of bitching involved and everyone there to just have fun with their dogs. There's already some staffys involved, who do quite well.:) Edited cause the phone wouldn't let me swear and what it auto corrected too, didn't make a lot of sense.
  16. Or they can just do what my cat Lily does. She doesn't like to get her nose wet!!
  17. www.qt.com.au/news/animals-charity-cleared-of-abuse-council-inquiry-c/1863995/ This was on they're Facebook page this morning, with the quote we're headed back to Ipswich!!
  18. I use Pet Connection and as long as you spend over $80 delivery is free to Ippy by courier. They're wonderful, I ring and order and tell them when the money is going in and it's there the day after.
  19. I bought my electric fence years ago when mine were digging out. I ran it round the bottom of the fence, so they touched it, if they dug. It's a horse electric fence and it runs off a solar panel. I have felt the kick many times and it gives enough to tell you you shouldn't touch it. I think with my guys it's more the noise "crack" that it makes when they touch it. Now days they don't go near the fence, it doesn't worry them, they know its there and they respect it.
  20. If you know anybody in Brisbane doing this, I would be interested.
  21. www.friendlydogcollars.com.au These are the Aussie suppliers.
  22. I just went and had a look, the closest there is, is a Mini Foxie forum up above in The breeds. It hasn't been used since June last year, but write in it, people have alerts and will see it.
  23. I got plenty of cuts cleaning it up, and the speed it shattered would have thrown a force behind it.
  24. I was travelling to a dog show yesterday, luckily with the dogs in the dog trailer behind me. I had my gear in the back of the ute. Suddenly I see going over the trailer, what looks like a black snow storm. When I pulled up and checked, somehow I had shattered my rear window on the canopy. There was glass everywhere. When I got to the show, I got out my grooming box (completely sealed) but that was it, I couldn't risk the glass. When I got back home, I took it to the local ARB place and they told me, probably a rock had hit my trailer and hit the glass. When i questioned the shattering everywhere, they said they were built like that and it was one of their biggest repairs. I questioned why it shattered and not held together like a windscreen? There's no laminate in these as that would up the cost emensly. When not travelling somewhere (eg. a show) I used to throw the dogs in the back of the ute, cause they were safe and contained or so I thought. The amount of glass that came inwards, would have cut my dogs up REALLY badly. When the new window gets replaced, we're going to put one of those mesh stickers on it (the kind you can see out of, not into - if anyone knows any good places around Brissy let me know), hopefully if this was to happen again, it would hold it. Thought I'd put the warning out there. Edited for spelling
