  1. I don't give a reccomendation for the Barnsley's based on my own experience with Neil. Gary doesn't take on new clients anymore. I have seen Peter out at Berkshire park for 4 years, he's a lovely man who is a gentle as possible with the dogs and I get results: 0411 353 130. He's a Muscle Manipulator not a Chiro.
  2. Be proactive and go over and tell your neighbours what's happening and ask them to bear with you whilst puppies gets used to your home. What don't you get? A stressed dog isn't going to be interested in toys or food. I reccomend you change your method, this one isn't working. As per my post above I reccomend Crate Games.
  3. I reccomend Susan Garretts Crate Training DVD to have a pup or dog love their Crate: http://www.agilityclick.com/prod157.htm
  4. Head to the Dane thread, there is a member 'Meg' there who makes them.

  7. You'll need to intervene. Can I reccomend a method called the Handbrake Method from K9 Pro. http://www.k9pro.com.au/
  8. At our last place my OH put in Star Pickets to hold up the fence and that worked well. The Staffy may settle down soon, I've had a dog aggressive dog play up a treat when we moved house and then settled down with the neighbours. I'd be worried with that Staffy getting over the fence too, I'd probably be wanting to put an extention ontop of the fence line.
  9. I'm going Staffy x Kelpie x another 5 different things.
  10. It's pretty natural for a dog to park at a strange dog it can see from its' own property. 1) You could bring the dog in the house, you can always crate the dog. 2) Try a bark collar if adversive training sits ok with you. 3) Put up a visual blocker so your dog can't see external stimuli. 4) Do some training with your dog i.e. seeing another dog or person is good and gets rewarded.
  11. Isn't Mum's role pretty important in teaching her pups right up until 8 weeks? I understand she wouldn't be with them all the time as she's be sick of them but do they not need her teachings during this time?
  12. My dog doesn't sit like a frog and has A grade hips.
  13. We have rugs to stop the dogs slipping. Got them from ebay. All of ours are shag pile style...hides the dirt although the Dyson has no problem getting it.
  14. It is small, I have Danes so thought this may be a problem.....no problem.
  15. May I just say that's great resolution!
  16. The dogs were like that for about a month and then it calmed down, although their poos are bigger.
  17. Aren't they just an amazing animal organisation *shakes head*
  18. Regardless of whether this was a attack (teeth) or not, you were definately rushed at my an dog not under control and you really need to report this. It's scary to think what could have happened.
  19. Ccrates used to do a fully metal one, maybe ask them?
  20. Nope. What is that you worry about specifically?

  23. I have one for my Dane 122 x 122 x 122 iin my lounge room.
  24. Physical Stimulation vs Mental Stimulation......I'd definately go the Mental to exhaust the dog and also consider what enrichment you can provide the dog when you're not home.
