The kong wobbler gave my Labrador girl a bare patch on her nose too, she loves it so much but have had to retire it for a while till her nose recovers, she had been now using the planet dog snoop which I wanted her to try out anyway since we sell them, she loves it but it does dispense the food easy especially if it small food, she usually gets an apple of carrot which I can chop bigger. But the good thing about the snoop is its soft and doesn't wear her nose and you can make it more difficult but plugging with with a ball which they have to get out first.

Oh I am glad this topic came up, I have been wondering this myself. Abbey has had the injection previously and is due this month, however after talking with her naturopath about the injection I don't think I want to do it again, we want to reduce the amount of chemicals in her system as her immune system seems to over react. What tablets do you all use?

Maybe just a rain coat Aliwake? They are pretty light weight. Would he be happy to wear one?

I only use a coat on Abbey (black lab) if its really really cold when walking, she is less than impressed but her coat is not overly thick and it keeps her dry. She has access inside during the day in winter so ive never left it on her when ive gone to work. As long as he goes into his kennel and doesn't sit out in the rain looking sorry for himself (fellow lab owner so I know they do the guilt trip) Aliwake, most labs are usually okay with a bit of cold just depends how cold Brisbane can get.
