  1. Give it 5 minutes...oh hang on I was thinking of an American movie. hang on a sec *looks around nervously* can ya hear those choppers? ah ya dag
  2. Dontcha think they'd have gofers watching this thread as well? You've asked people on here to flood them, toydogs - you're probably about to get swamped by guys jumping out of a chopper hovering over your house if they were reading this forum they'd be more informed so i don't think they are reading anything otherwise they'd know not to get a puppy from that place. they'd have to find out where i live first
  3. even if the dog was on lead i believe would not have made a huge difference, the dog that attacked my pointer was on a lead and sniffing my dog next thing it turned and pinned my dog to the ground and started biting my dog around the neck both dogs were onlead but mine broke off his lead and the other dog did the same! someone told me that if they got a dog from me (toy dog breed) they'd walk it in a dog park, i said no way, they said it will be safe because all the dogs are on lead. I can't imagine what would have happened if i had off been walking one of my little dogs. i think it would have either been dead or severely injured that other dog was biting the crap out of my dog. the owners were trying to pull it off and eventually he grabbed the collar and pulled. after that i found out that we should have each done the cartwheel (think thats what its called) and wheeled them away. my opinion was i would not sell to a person who persists in walking dogs in a dog park, they are dangerous places simply becuase you can't control other owners and their dogs actions. i'd never take my dog to another park after that ever again and i don't even know what reaction my dog has to other dogs now. i exercise him on his own in a school oval. away from everyone on our own.
  4. looking at the pics, the 9 week old is a pom cross (bred and exhibited this breed 15 years ago) and also the other has terrier in it, can't really see chi in it at all athough it may have a very small amount in it. but still and all obviously small dogs and yes taking a 9 week old baby on a lead to a dog area where it is free for all is a very silly thing to do. i'd never do it even walking my little dogs in my area is a big risk as it only takes a second for a big dog like that to get its mouth around your little dogs neck and then they are gone. little dogs exercise themselves if you have a very big backyard.
  5. Thanks for the linkie - brilliant idea, I just emailed her, too. please everyone who is reading this thread keep emailing the PM we want to flood their inbox get the message to them but they'd have advisors filtering the info so i don't know how much is actually getting through to that partner of hers. he has a wood head i believe. it makes me angry he said ignorantly that it is a smart breed of dog, it isn't a breed of dog, its a mutt and you take pot luck what kind of a dog you get with these mixes. we all know that but apparently they've fallen for the glossy website this puppy farm has, down there it is puppy farm central.
  6. they've only got 30 of 30 comments so its closed now.
  7. will there? i hope so. someone needs to get to the PM and fast before they make the biggest mistake of their entire lives. apparently on talk back radio they are going off the scale someone was commenting and quite angry a commentator don't know who, how the PM is supporting puppy farms. they are going to get alot of fall out from this decision. but those people are almost like criminals threatening people like they do and its on the net for all to see its not heresay either, they've threatened my family!!!!!! and all because i commented on their stupid facebook page. i assume the facebook page is still there just search for billabong creek farm, he left it as administrator so it means he can't delete it and facebook are really hard to get onto to delete anything you can't email them anymore.
  8. judging on their facebook page they are roughheads those people , threatening people!!!!! i was on the end of that one myself........ i just can't believe that the PM and her partner fell for their propaganda BS. prices of these mutts are going to sky rocket now. goodbye pedigree dog hello designer mongrel mutt.
  9. we've had a couple come to our door (my mum's place) and ask to see one of our dogs for sale. then ask if they can walk it. my mother said no i'll walk the dog for you. then they said they'll go and get some money out usually people know how much the dog is and have the money ready just incase ifthey want to buy it if they like it. then after they said they'll get the $ they disappeared never to be heard again. what it was, these people were on a scam, they went to numerous other breeders homes asking to walk their dogs to try and take off with the dog once they had the dog on their own on a lead. don't know if they were successful. i said to mum call the police but no one knew where they'd come from. so there's types like that and it is a greater risk especially when you advertise on the net. there's breeders with their address clearly for all to see on breeders sites. seen this just yesterday i couldn't believe it and a breeder that is being targetted by animal rights people too. i can see why they know where they live because the breeder is displaying it for all to see. maybe the breeder thought they have nothing to hide but as i've said animal libs, animal rights people make it look worse than what it actually is sometimes to suit themselves.
  10. yea pack mentality. im using that word alot today i have a visiting bitch from another kennel with me now and she is picking on my dogs so i have had to separate her from everyone. she was getting my other dogs to pick on one particular elderly dog so no way would i leave them unsupervised together.
  11. okay my bad, slip of the tongue, i did go on to post im really not sure afterwards. it was unclear the way it was written. TBH, i saw that and got off the net, didn't want to go on an check status thats why i came on here and asked if anyone has heard of it, lazy i know but just making conversation. but my point is, they are advertising this dog in amongst pure breeds of dogs and what is the public supposed to think they are advertising for this site here in Australia, no wonder everyone is getting confused. a lot of people wouldn't know how to check for status in other countries as well as FCI they'd just take it on face value like i did. and some ANKC reg breeders are on there as well in the mix. some reg breeders have even gone as far as to advertise their addresses where they live as well i notice. which is a bit risky on the net .
  12. even little dogs can turn on little dogs as in the case of a reg breeder this was about 20 years ago, and i was horrified when i heard that she'd left about 20 little dogs in a run together and came back to find about 3 dead, they'd all turned on each other and killed 3 dogs. i just wonder after that, and if the owners get other dogs whether they will be doing the same thing, letting their little dogs greet whoever
  13. no way am i going to PTS any dog not unless it is really suffering if i can fix it or keep the dog happy then it will live. as in the case with the hydro puppy i had. he is now in a wonderful home with a very experienced lady and is loved and cared for just like we did for him. he was happy and kept fed and warm and his every need was attended to. i was worried about that so i asked my vet do you think i could be dobbed into the RSPCA he said, no because you have gotten veterinary assistance on a number of occassions with receipts so they haven't got a case against me he wreckons. I dont think they care whether the dog has been treated or not when they put your photos up on the net . That may be why some look bad but are cleared when the real people charged with checking this stuff out take a better look but you wouldnt hear that - its just look at this terrible thing . yep you are 100% correct there.
  14. omg. i think really having little dogs for many years, its just too risky to walk little dogs in a public area especially dog beaches or leash free parks. having my big breed dog attacked and thinking what would have happened to my little toy dogs, its just too much a risk. i've had numerous people enquiring about owning one of my dogs and saying they have a dog park near them and they'll walk the dog there. told them that just because dogs are on the leash doesn't mean it will stop them attacking other dogs. the dog that attacked my bigger breed dog was on a lead with owners in tow and it didn't make one iota of a difference. those poor little dogs didn't stand a chance. and both sides are a bit ignorant to the situation im sorry to say. a little pom puppy they are so tiny and fragile and getting them to greet a big dog like that thats just pure madness. i don't even let my little dogs near my big dog unsupervised because sometimes they just don't know their size difference and they could unknowingly swipe the little dogs and cause damage. i wonder what the bigger dog did, he said he didn't maul them? little dogs just have this big dog syndrome too, you go to a dog show and see all the little toy breeds carry on when a person walks a bigger breed through them. they carry on something awful.
  15. no way am i going to PTS any dog not unless it is really suffering if i can fix it or keep the dog happy then it will live. as in the case with the hydro puppy i had. he is now in a wonderful home with a very experienced lady and is loved and cared for just like we did for him. he was happy and kept fed and warm and his every need was attended to. i was worried about that so i asked my vet do you think i could be dobbed into the RSPCA he said, no because you have gotten veterinary assistance on a number of occassions with receipts so they haven't got a case against me he wreckons.
  16. Yes! I just heard this one today, I've heard both ads now and they are both, but the pitbull one moreso, very provocative. I'm sure the ad alone will create fear in some people. They are inciting fear and hatred, I thought that was against the law. well when you think about it, they are going to have an influx of calls and if too many how are they going to keep up with it all. encouraging everyone to ring in. i can't see how they are going to be following up on each and every single complaint. love to see how this is all going to work.
  17. how do the rescue know that the dog will be killed? they could very well get the dog back and just rehome it like some other breeders do. maybe that particular rescue has some sort of mentality about all breeders killing dogs that go back to them not good for all breeders to be made out they are all ogres.
  18. we are very wary nowadays who we let through our doors because of run ins with various people in the past. so now we watch it and now i see that the animal libs are getting buyers to report back to them the condition of dogs and the conditon of the property then they have their guns blazing, come in seize dogs yell puppy farm, puppy farm. as what happened to a reg breeder i know. so should we as breeders just open up our homes to anyone we come across? i think not. but yes, parvo can be carried on shoes and other items and its bloody hard to get rid of too, once you have it.
  19. i've heard this over and over again, people buying pups not vaccinated and clearly underage. yet people still buy them, i heard from someone a petshop diddn't believe in selling vacc pups. and still the person bought this pup and then proceeded to walk it around everywhere even after believing the pup wasn't the age the petshop told them it was. Well thats pretty hard to believe - any pet shop that didnt believe in vaccinating and didnt vaccinate would be so stupid its soundling like gossip and crap to me. If its true and they didnt vaccinate then the buyer needs to report them. In Victoria its against the law to home a puppy thats not vaccinated - there you have all you need to lodge a complaint if you have the evidence to back it up or if they can't prove they did. yep second and third hand info and yes thats what i said to the person who told me, they'd have a pretty good case if it was true and to report the shop of all places, but i keep hearing it again and again so there must be something in that.
  20. History With the introduction of the Biewer to America in 2003, there has been much speculation about its heritage. Mr. and Mrs. Biewer had been raising and showing Yorkies for 20 years, when on January 20th, 1984 the first blue, white and gold Biewer named Schneeflocken von Friedheck was born. This was the start of what is known as the Biewer Breed. Mr. Biewer spent 5 years selectively breeding his dogs until he was able to establish and breed true to a standard uniquely the Biewer Breed. The dogs were then registered as Biewer Yorkshire Terrier a la Pom Pon. In 1989 when Mr. Biewer signed the standard for this wonderful new breed, it was that of the Yorkshire Terrier with the coloring being White-Blue-Gold. Mr. Biewer was not a man of many words, so the standard was short and brief. No mention of reg AKC, but i assume its with AKC or perhaps its with the continental kennel club i know they registered crosses and DD's over there along with purebreeds. im not for or against just giving info here. and i spelt it wrong its Biewer and this is in with all other recognised breeds but there are a few from other countries in their list. interestingly it says country origin is germany.

  22. They won't as the ANKC regulations don't allow it: thank dog for that.
  23. i thought the tenterfield terrier was from mini foxie stock? although i saw that info on the gardeners show and he made it look like he found the name for the tenterfield.
  24. i think someone on here said that they were thinking of calling them australian service dog. or something to that effect. but yes i hope that that name doesn't go through because it is known as from australia so that in my eyes would be terribly embarrassing. i got sent an email about a new website called edoglovers. and was looking thru it to see if they supported DD's didn't find any, but i did find one breed called the brewer developed in 2003 in USA from yorkies and it looks like lhasas etc. from a breeder that showed and bred yorkies. so now it has been accepted by AKC. anyone heard of the brewer?
