My guys love blueberries, there are nothing wrong with giving them to dogs.

My pug slaps the baby pug over the head all the time! I think she needs a dane puppy to come and slap her over the head and show her who's boss

See main title of thread :D Haha yes, but I mean how do you learn them all so you can identify them just off a picture. I mean, wow

How do you people know all these

edit, misunderstood the feet part, thought you meant nails

Oh Ellz, that is a special name I'm sure she will be a very loved companion. Husbands name is Amelia Pond (Yes after Doctor Who) so he can say, "Come along Pond!" I was thinking more Odette, Ophelia or Aurora. None of these names show up anywhere on 'dog naming websites'. I tried renaming our rescue dog to Hamlet, Ham or Hammy for short, but the kids were very vocal about keeping Simba. So it has stuck. Also - How cute is this! Oh, Pond is an awesome name! at that harness lol

Unless you have a chance to confirm anything they say, I'd not automtically assume they are legit. Then again, I'm a cynic by nature. The "caring for the bitch as the owner was away" is a red flag for me!

Just be careful, pretty much anyone will tell you they are a registered breeder, even if they aren't ANKC registered. Start with this list, http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/puppies/beagle.asp

I think everyone is getting a bit pedantic with this "but some must stay in the vial therefor we're not getting a full dose anyway" etc. If you split and you're happy to keep doing so - go for it. You're not going to be arrested for doing it! But you also have no grounds for complain if you dog dies from a tick.

Sounds like an expensive way for them to make you buy their products.

As previously said - not all breeds have things that need, or can, be tested for.

Can Anyone Reccomend The Cheapest/best Online Pet Stores?
minimax replied to mrs tornsocks's topic in General Dog Discussion
Budget pet products is cheapest for flea/tick stuff -
Because not all breeds have things that can or need to be tested for.

I named my puppy about two years before I found her, so don't worry about naming before hand!

OMG, imagine being stuck with a twilight theme named pup

I've often wondered how a name could be rejected as already taken, I thought the prefix would make it unique?

Unless you're having sex on the floor, what's the problem with having the dogs on the floor

That's not curbing enthusasim, it's teaching manners.

Yup, but you need to use the full editor not the "fast reply" box. When you use the full editor you will see an "attachment" option below the reply box, but above the "add reply" button.

I only have two small dogs, a 7kg pug and a 11kg pug, but both of them end up on my pillow and I wake up with a sore neck because I've been pushed off the pillow and I'm laying on an awkward angle flat on the mattress People in the dog park are often horrified when they hear my dogs sleep on my pillow, but my pillowcase is changed daily and my pillow is changed often.

Or chain it up with a pigs ear or bone for a few minutes while you're away?

I got to choose both my puppies pedigree names - Max is Bunyong Spoilt to the Max (Bunyong is the Prefix) and Boston is Hugapug Missing in Boston (Hugapug is the Prefix). Max name doesn't follow a theme, but Boston's sort of does as the names on his fathers side follow a law theme (his dad is "Without a Trace", which is why I chose "Missing in Boston")

Don't stress on the toilet training, at 16 weeks you can't expect a reliable toilet trained pup!

My pup had recurrent UTI's in the first few months of her life and she's been on cranberry ever since, even though the UTI's have stopped. I wouldn't wait to take her to the vet, a UTI is painful and can get worse really quickly, why not just take her now? There are heaps of vets in Newtown. If you want a natural vet, I'd recommend one in Russell Lea, All Natural Vet Clinic. Otherwise Sydney Animal Hospital, Newtown is okay as a vet.
