  1. https://www.budgetpetproducts.com.au/new/index.php?productID=2051 Here's a bargain if it helps at all!
  2. I'd keep well away from Hanrob too, to be honest. I.literally have never heard a good thing.
  3. Gus squats while we walks and pees, so occasionally he's a bit piddly but I have to admit I don't smell it either, he's not entire but inside all the time. Probably a bit different to entire but I'd have a strong wee smell checked. Perhaps some apple cider vinegar in his drinking water too?
  4. How bizarre Steve! Some days us adults spend most of it in our Jammies, lucky the dog is just as keen to sleep in. What a strange way to qualify suitability!
  5. SM. We call that the brown curtain. Every beach trip...Gus has got to have the cleanest pipes ever.
  6. Ours just sleep on our inflatable mattress or on the blankie next to us...haha. We have a bigger tent for them and us though.
  7. If my dogs were being housesit and couldn't adapt to what sounds like a normal household I'd like to know about it?
  8. The dodgy ones will just pop up elsewhere, like they always do.
  9. We do this too. Never had any drama! The two dogs are usually napping on the rug they have under the carport when we get home. Works for us!
  10. Oh, that clears that up then...??? I love you. Haha.
  11. Oh everyone is so cuuuute! I am gonna be a spamming jerk but here are some milestones and funnies. PS- I WISH WE HAD BABY STAN AND MADDIE! Haha. Adoption day photos so count! First day home; First beach trip; 6 months old with BUBBLES. And after eating a bee... And now!
  12. http://www.nationalpuppyday.com/ was yesterday, but today in the US. To celebrate, I want to see all of your DOL all stars as puppies. Photos please!!!
  13. Would a tub of diluted white vinegar help? As long as it doesn't irritate the poor monkey, just thinking it gets wee out of most everything else!
  14. My gumnuts spent the day inside with outside access, they prefer outside, and not even on their beds outside... Gus likes to be a hobo dog and sleep on the concrete pavers and give himself gross scaly elbows. We live in Western burbs of Melbourne, I have to say them being stolen doesn't often cross my mind, albeit totally possible, we have a lovely little cul de sac, padlocks and chains on the gate and they have enough bark to make people think he might not be worth taking on, even though he just wants to come out and play. If we got broken into he would help them out with the TV. The alternative of leaving them both inside while we work wouldn't be possible, they are big, young dogs who run around, steal things and chew things to oblivion. The house would be trashed and they would be raring to go when we got home, as opposed to expelling some energy wrestling and running around like dingbats. If they were little or older the story would be different, but it works for us for now. Fingers crossed we never run into trouble.
  15. Mum has one but honestly I hate driving the thing. It drives like a boat...haha. Loads of room though!
  16. Even if they do doesn't sound like they took reasonable care to ensure nothing happened. Did you correspond in writing at all? For example emails? I'd be keeping those too if you did.
  17. I feel like.it can't have been that secure if they could break in? Why were they even next to one another if that was a risk? Seems like the kennels have some explaining to do.
  18. I hardly think you can blame the owner on this one. It'd only take a split second while moving dogs about or talking to someone. My dog would scoff anything anyone handed to him in record time.
  19. I had the same thoughts. It's happened before by some AR nutters hasn't it? Who ever it was its disgusting. That poor dog and its owners http://blog.peta.org.uk/2015/03/activist-flies-the-flag-for-mutts-at-crufts-best-in-show/ That would be an avenue I would be looking heavily into, TBH.
  20. I have some canidae at the moment, I can send you a little ziploc bag sample if you like?!

    Lost Dogs Home

Retire with a lot of money from his undoubtedly hefty payout, methinks Perse. Hope he doesn't darken another doorway, TBH.

    Lost Dogs Home

That's the roots gone but bad roots always leave shoots to pop up, I think its going to have to be ongoing but this is an awesome start and GREAT news.
  23. Having said that that is where Rosie came from. She was marked as quiet, well trained and responsive to commands. Also fine left home of a day and non-vocal. She is literally none of these things, haha.
