Slightly OT but the baking soda is actually a really good suggestion for a first port of call. It alters the PH and acidity of wee and makes the bladder inhabitable for infection Not so silly IMO!

My favourite bit is chiding her son for leaving the shovel out. What a fabulous down to earth lady! I love her style!

Me too! Argh!!!

I am very sury real dog fighter would report such scum bags. If not, give them a beating then return the pets to owners, and tell others to keep away from you, and not give you dogs. Pick up any book on pit bull history, you will learn that no dog fighter would do such, this who do are petty street thugs and would hide facts they stole peoples pet to make their dog aggressive! What is a real dog fighter? In this case all are created equal, and that equal is low as low, IMO. Anyone who makes dogs fight for entertainment/sport/any reason is a dirt bag.

Oh my god, these are so beautiful. You are a fab photographer!

I think this is so freaking cool.

Someone could look on here and assume all Australians think X way, I don’t think we are a representative sample here. I would assume the same goes for OS forums. Joe Blow with his off lead dog is not represented very well here, the general public don’t tend to wind up here 9and stay) unless they’re a certain type of person who keeps their dogs in check fairly well.

I think you all just ruined easter for me! Here I was thinking they're fluffy snuggly balls of love, not pure hatred and evil!

Maddy have you considered an exorcism? That sounds horrifying!

So tired of this pluralistic BS. If a person commits an assault, we don't just shrug our shoulders and say "oh well, all people have the potential to be aggressive." ALL dogs most definitely do NOT have the potential to be aggressive. What we perceive as "aggression" (anthropomorphism) is a function of breeding, upbringing, and training. Dogs that have been bred for security work, some forms of hunting, (and yes fighting) often have "aggressive" traits bred in. Unfortunately dogs bred "wildly" or carelessly bred without regard to "temperament" may also have these traits. It's like responding to a fatal white-pointer attack by saying "all fish have the potential to be aggressive." I disagree. All dogs do have the potential to be aggressive. The threshold varies, but if I beat, starve and torture my dog he would react with aggression at some point. Dogs need to be treated more like dogs by the general public and given respect as such, of course they're a domestic animal but still an animal and not something we have bred into submission and can expect to tolerate everything humans, other dogs and co can throw at it.

If it's any consolation I copped it for desexing Gus at all once. How do you win?! Haha.

She totally deserves the heck out of this! How fabulous! -
Nothing to add but OHSOCUTE. Hug her for me!

I am going home in about 15 minutes and only live in Laverton. Would you like a hand looking?

There's cheap Chinese knock off go pro harnesses on eBay. Must much easier to replace when they're ten bucks or so. Quality isn't much different to the go pro one. We weren't thrilled with it either when we had a look at one, but the eBay ones aren't bad.

That's awesome! I don't like their suggestion of leaving it on to see what they get up to all day though!
-
Can I suggest as well, take her out to wee later. Keep her up a little later to do that last wee or make sure you get her up. Everyone else is right, it shouldn't be party time, just out, wee, back to bed.

I'd push the kid off then send the parents to time out. I second.literally everything you said there Lisa. The world is spinning off its axis! Haha.
-
I was about to suggest Leah! Leah does fab stuff with her own cocker and rescues. (If she won't toot her own horn, I will) Not sure if she's too far but she's awesome. :)

Sensitivity? Like rolling your eyes and calling bullshit because you don't agree with Labadore, BTW that's Labadore without a random R, that kinda sensitivity? If you had actually read my post you would've seen that I said "I" couldn't...me....HazyWal, if you could without a backward step then good for you. This man's story wasn't a cobbled together story it was a heartbreaking account of what happened, to his dog. An account of how he feels it was avoidable because after all, he's the one grieving, he's the one living the nightmare. This is a very emotional subject, people will sit on each side of the fence some will sit on it, that's what a discussion forum is. I am terribly sorry my phone corrected Labadore's user name without my noticing, I am not sure why that offended you so greatly, but do accept my apologies. You're right though, I could have been more sensitive, understandably I am pretty over seeing someone already down kicked further. Like I said, it doesn't benefit anyone but is totally self serving. I also have no idea why you are assuming I directed anything toward you, you seem to have taken my post pretty personally and I am sorry for that too. I actually didn't even read your post to be honest, I missed it. Can I also point out not once did I suggest the other people involved were not living a horrible hellish tale and suggest I do not feel the utmost sympathy for them too. It is horrible for everyone, but the vitriol I was referring to doesn't make it better on them either, I would be willing to bet the opposite actually.
