  1. Crappy one from me this week. Late on a Sunday arvo and I just couldn't be bothered Week 38/52 - Riley by shellandriley, on Flickr

  3. Nah I still have it - couldn't bare to part with it! But, my hubby bought me the 7d for my birthday, as I really really wanted it, so Id feel terribly bad if he caught me using the 350d. I do really like the 7D, but I just find it alot harder to get a decent shot out of it. They aren't as sharp, and Im still having a bit of issue with the focus points. I've read a few books on the camera, and learnt alot, I guess its just going to come with time and patience. Its frustrating that my hubby can't just pick it up and use it either.
  4. Yay more 7d owners. Maybe you can all give me some tips? I miss my 350D terribly...
  5. We had the same problem. My OH bought me one for my birthday, and I got it that night, but couldn't play with it as we didn't have a memory card to fit. OH thought we had one at home somewhere, but we couldn't find it.
  6. I think that might of been what he called Rileys. He said its really common where it was (just behind his front leg) and they usually get to egg shape size. He said unless it changes texture it should be fine and they'll just check it every appointment from now on. Meanwhile Riley spent the whole night waiting for things. It was like he knew he'd been good so kept waiting for treats! Little bugger
  7. I had to take Riley to the vet tonight after finding a largish lump on his side yesterday. The vet shaved the area, and did a needle biopsy on the spot so he could check it under the microscope. Riley didn't care about the clippers (Despite never being near them before), then I was patting him as the needle went in and he didn't even flinch. He was such a good boy. Thankfully the vets pretty certain it's a benign tumour, and nothing to worry about. One of the best types to get apparantly. He's such a good boy, and has been a absolute pleasure to own for the last 10 and half years, and hopefully many years to come!
  8. With our smoke alarms at work, we spray fly spray around the censors every few months - the alarm guys recommended it to kill the cochroaches etc that might set it off.

  10. We have a smoke alarm thats always going off when we cookc - its super sensitive (i don't always burn things ). Riley doesn't even seem to flinch when that goes off and its pretty loud. Same deal with my parents house alarm, that never seemed to bother him either?
  11. Is this date (24th oct) the date it closes? The sites been crashing on me all morning so Im not sure if I still have time to get a photo done and enter.
  12. Cute! You can tell just how much he's grown from comparing those pics to the ones in your signature.
  13. I have a crumper, I love it...
  14. We've used maxalon since Riley was a pup - for any trips over 30 mins.

  16. Teebs - I *think* the shirts may have been a special order from fluppies.
  17. I've still got Riley's 2 t shirts floating around somewhere.
  18. I sold my conmurra twin tank heated for around the $1500 I think it was from memory - that was a few years back. I remember being hugely surprised! I ended up actually making money on it!! It seems over the years I had it they went up in price.
  19. The sharlee site is cheaper for the frontline I buy, but to save a few dollars, I think I will have to stick with pricess pets as their website is much more user friendly. Seems alot of places are bringing the prices down now though which is good.
  20. Another average last minute shot from me this week - must get my act together and get organised earlier than Sunday night!! Week 34/52 - Riley by shellandriley, on Flickr
  21. I love my dog, but Im more than happy for them not to be allowed at cafes. Not everyone is smart about it, and having a strangers dog jump at your legs while you're trying to have a nice meal isn't always pleasant. Then theres the people with allergies. Then the dog that yaps all the time, and the two dogs that will do anything to get to each other from different tables...
  22. Mine too!! I forgot all about them until this thread. I used to love those things.
  23. I ordered from them in July without a problem - I've always got my order really quickly, except once when it took about 3-4 weeks. There was a huge mix up and it took a while to get it sorted. Luckily it seemed like a once off. When I had those issues I contacted them through the vet hospital link which is on their site http://wooloowinanimalhospital.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=38&Itemid=29
  24. If it was me, Id buy a more basic camera and some great lenses then upgrade the camera body later on. I had my 350D for 5 years and never really outgrew it. I got the 7D in June, but really its way more than I need. I loved my 350d!
