Dear Dog! Howling with laughter here :D
-
Until those days she got to be loved by you.

Do you know if the Vets went any further with the 'allergy driven' scenario? That diet might even contribute: some dogs have protein issues with chicken. I certainly like Royal Canin but if the dog has issues with digestion because of the ingredients then there's anothe source of issues. Do her owners keep her ear channels clean when there is no obvious sign of infection?

I have a share in a Black Russian gal of beautiful Austrian lines. When she was imported , she did her quarantine in Sydney. I used to visit her & totally fell for her. I can go ages & not see her. But when we meet, she rolls onto ther back for tummy tickles :)

Tis the very best word to descirbe precious 'puppies/dogs'...... Speshal. Ticks all the boxes and bring joy to people. So speshal. And yep, they are allowed to be naughty 'cos they are speshal. -
The other variation is to snare a mouse & hide it for a day. THEN bring said mouse to Momma for revival. Trust me, mouse revival is impossible when the human is on top of the table screaming. Of course, that cues in 'yeah, let's toss mousey in the air, jump & catch it & see what Momma does then. Oh my, is that Daddy I see racing outside too? Are my humans scaredy cats?@

ha! ZsaZsa BitchGal Vizsla would bring her Momma the bodies. She would drop them at my feet as if to say 'oops, what happened here' LOL :)

I think part of the problem an owner is faced with is if the cat/kitten already has a compromised immune system either because of being very young or old & ill. Bites then may have the potential for problems but not necessarily from the animal getting envenomed. ( if that's a word???) I know kirty is cluey with these tidbits of info.

Just a FYI, I had to get them because my neighbour, in a drunken state, threatened to kill either Tibor or Horrible Herbert. He had an AVO taken out by the Police. He breached that. He did a couple of hundred dollars worth of damage to our house, including removing the main switch fuse. ( worth over $89 to replace). he smashed out front windows too. However, he was not aware I had cameras in. I only told the Police. When we went for the Court hearing, he denied ever being on the property after that AVO was issued. He kinda had a squeaky bum moment when the tapes & photos were produced. His lesson was never EVER threaten my animals, EVER.

Not expensive. The expense may be more in what the installer wants to charge. to maybe aid your decision, have a look at a company called jaycar www.jaycar.com.au They have stores all over Australia. The staff I have ever spoken to have been helpful AND not patronising towards a female. I had picked a system tha was going to cost nearly $900. They were able to tell me what to buy at nearly half that price with the same effect. I would hope you never need it. But for peace of mind and security, it is great. Also, some Home Insurance companies may give a discount.

Yeah they do I've got one :) And most speshal too.

Just so you know, Cosmolo, I crate the dog before the guests arrive. He becomes part of the scene when I attach the lead and direct him to do what I want. But with one group of visitors, they come to the back yard and mingle with him. After playing happily, he is tuckered out so crates himself.
