BARF is actually good as you know. How many times a day are you feeding your boy? What is his age & current weight? :)
-
I have a slight variation of this. HH does some grooming of you know where. Then realises Momma might be waking up so dive bombs the face with the same grooming tongue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

"funny" Video About Dogs Is Actually Disturbing
VizslaMomma replied to RuralPug's topic in General Dog Discussion
Decided not to watch this video. To brighten us a little bit, a friend once had a proper boof cross-bred Lab-Mastiff named Benji. To this day, I have no idea how or why but he always knew Saturday was bath day. And every Saturday at around 09:25am, he would go crawl under the bed to escape her. The lab part of him meant he weakened with the treats. But no mention was ever made of a bath, no towels ever around. Benji knew though. :) -
Poppy is pretty hip. Doggles will complement her beach attire. :)

Rats to that. I was having a quick trip to Brisbane for New Year. My breeder told me those times I quoted. Wonder when it changed?
-
Closer to the time, the breeds numbers may be added. I'll be following this thread so would be happy to update numbers for you. Of course, there may be no absent dogs but you should get some idea. I think planning ahead is a good idea, Sylvie. I waited two years for the current puppy & he came from Queensland.

Regular Veterinary Health Checks For Intact Males

We started daily to make it a regular happening rather than forgetting. I prefer entire males and docked tails. :) -
Regular Veterinary Health Checks For Intact Males
VizslaMomma replied to labadore's topic in General Dog Discussion
I can echo what the others said. My boy remained intact for his whole 15 years . He was checked by us daily. Every dog/bitch we have owned was trained to line up daily to be checked. This involved hands on touching & feeling of everything. They would all stand like they were being judged at a Show. Then get a thorough check. In fact twice because of checks, we caught ticks that were feasting happily. ZsaZsa had a benign mammary tumour, detected at once. Until the furkids were 10 years old, they had once yearly Wellness checks with the Vet. After 10 years, we treated them to twice yearly checks. All older dogs were also titre checked and never vaccinated. I think your attitude is excellent to want to look after your dog like this. :) -
They are trained to multi-task. Hoever some focus on just the one facet of detection. This might interest you, sandgrubber. http://www.searchdogsuk.co.uk/forensic_search.html :)

Type of story I love. Humans being decent ( for a change). Thanks for posting this.

That's excellent. Methinks there might be one very lucky GSD & human now that you are helping them. The health and wellbeing of a dog has some many angles.

Heck no! Sending good vibes for ya'll, Don.

Do you belong to ShowManager? You can create an entry form from a template on their site and print out a copy. I did that for a NSW show.

So yet again, the innocent victim is Linc. Well done, hoomans. NOT

Inbetween no smells, also consider either the apple cider vinegar or the Caleunda tea . Handsome Herbert has been going swimming all year. He does a mean shake, rattle, rock & roll after the swims. The Vet checked his ears. Only mild inflammation. He agreed that a regime of the above was effective in conjuction with the baby wipes. Hope you have success. I've had troubles with ears with the other Vizslas. THeir miserable faces was horrible.

I would prefer to have my dog be fully tested for whatever allergies might be causing issues. If her immune system is out of whack, then her body will have troubles overcoming infections. Hence she is living in a vicious cycle: infections that are cleared only by antibiotics are constantly needed. I also would not want to take a jump to ear surgery unless it was confirmed for me her body is in order (totally) to warrant it. Does the dog belong to family or friends? It's great you are trying to help them with this problem. Would they consider maybe seeing a Holistic Vet for a blood tests, hair DNA testing and full thyroid blood levels? If you look at posts by Erny, she undertook further tests in her efforts to help her dog. :)

That must have been scary for you to be told. Hope Em is continuing to recover. :)

I'd vote vebo too. They are great tough crates. You may think the cheaper lighter wire ones would suffice for tiny dogs, and they may, but for peace of mind go with strength. Even tiny dogs can push at the cheap ones and bend out wire or pop out sides, which can and does result in paws, legs, necks and all manner of parts stuck in the wire and the gaps. I know a few dogs that have been injured and traumatized by cheap wire crate accidents. You can order covers with the vebo ones too. their crates are on special right now.... just saying :)

TBH< it was the whole reason I waited. Mind, on reflection I sometimes say woah! Why did I do that. That's just light humour. Not 10 mintues ago, he just stood and looked at me. His stance was the spit of his dog Momma. Made me smile :)
