Transporting Dogs And Cats From Paralysis Tick Areas
VizslaMomma replied to Kirislin's topic in General Dog Discussion
NSW has supposed requirements for this. Queensland still has a very strict policy as well. -
One of our young gal Vizslas was actually sprung on more than one occasion walking along the 6 foot fence....... Since she was of slight build, she could balance well. This was something never considered by us.

I will lend to you for awhile a puppy, God said, For you to love him while he lives and to mourn for him when he is gone. Maybe for 12 or 14 years, or maybe for 2 or 3 But will you, till I call him back take care of him for me? He’ll bring his charms to gladden you and (should his stay be brief) you’ll always have his memories as solace for your grief. I cannot promise that he will stay since all from Earth return, But there are lessons taught below I want this pup to learn. I’ve looked the whole world over in search of teachers true, And from the fold that crowd life’s land I have chosen you. Now will you give him all your love Nor think the labor vain, nor hate me when I come to take my pup back again? I fancied that I heard them say, “Dear Lord, They Will Be Done,” For all the joys this pup will bring the risk of grief you’ll run. Will you shelter him with tenderness, Will you love him while you may? And for the happiness you’ll know forever grateful stay? But should I call him back much sooner than you’ve planned, please brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand. If, by your love, you’ve managed my wishes to achieve, In memory of him that you’ve loved, cherish every moment with your faithful bundle, and know he loved you too. Vale, my sweet Tibor. October 16 1999 - December 1 2014 I know you are romping at the Rainbow Bridge with Gabor and ZsaZsa.

Horrible Herbert decided he did not want to go to the 'crate'. Tried to make being crated on his terms. I changed the command to zulu. He races into the crate everytime. Win-win.

A breeder friend had a request from interstate for a Vizsla puppy. Was looking like a puppy would be sold. Until it turned out the house had no fences & the puppy's new home was to be in a garage. If they had not gone with their gut feelings, it is difficult to imagine what might have happened. And no, the owners to be said they had lived in that house for 5 years, 3dog & no fences.... known in their neighbourhood for escaping dogs.

Then I think you could choose another word to mean sit. assis is the choosen French word as you know. Pick another word for the same command. I have done that with quite a few Hungarian words.

Jessie's Mysterious Sickness
VizslaMomma replied to dezzyno.1's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
This is not good for you or Jessie. This may sound a generalisation but it's not. Obviously something is out of order within Jessie's system. Maybe it is time to consider other tests to check her thoroughly? Erny wrote up where she had her dog's hair DNA tested. It actually showed up issues that were affecting the dog's health. I know there's a 'normal' range of test results for both humans & animals. But sometimes, either creature may not be right to have that range. Only a suggestion because I hope you can pinpoint the problems. :) -
Jessie's Mysterious Sickness
VizslaMomma replied to dezzyno.1's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Can you recall anything that happened 12 months ago that might have set this in motion? Was the medication changed? Obviously there's some trigger.... -
Jessie's Mysterious Sickness
VizslaMomma replied to dezzyno.1's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
dezzyno.1, Is there any chance that Jessie's body is not fully metabolishing the anti-seizure meds? So that over a 3 month period, the toxins build up and cause this reaction. What is the name of the medication? I was wondering if monthly blood tests to determine the levels might give any indication? If the enezymes are becoming elevated, that may be a forewarning for you. I guess the other thing is to write up a list of all & everything that might happen. How long ago did this start? What season of the year etc etc. There may be a trigger not obvious yet. -
He is indeed a darling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Big grin from me.
