  1. Ours just finished a bag of this very product. I spoke to the Vet about using it for them and he agreed. Regime was one measured cup daily and RAW to supplement. One boy is 14 years old (intact & diagnosed hypothyroid) and the other is 14 weeks old. I was beyond thrilled with the stuff. The old boy actually gained a couple of kilos. Very much needed. Result of blood test meant he could have his medication reduced by one tablet. His shedding slowed, his 'scratching' nothing disappeared. He even decided HE, and he alone, should chase the chewed up frisbee. This was after 2 weeks of the dry. He is acting frisky again, poops are 'better'. Not as constipated. Prior to this, he was declining to eat almost nightly. Vet did a full blood count without anything scary being shown. Teeth were in fine condition. He is acting 'younger' & stalking me to be feed. He even loves his bones again. Puppy appears to be growing by the day. OK, he's a chow hound. But he is glowing with health & energy. Showed his breeder piccies. She was thrilled to be able to see how good he looks. Food does not 'smell'. Appears very fresh. Residue of bag had very very little 'dust' & waste. The only other dry I have is Royal Canin Medium puppy. Again, both dogs like it. Hope this helps you both LisaCC. Nothing more distressing is the wee puppy ( regardless of age) being troubled with itching. :) ETA: ask your supplier if they can get a 'damaged' bag. Bag is ripped/torn but no food escapes. They can sell at a reduced cost. Not always available however. ETA (again) Forgot. We tried Black Hawk...... soft poops every where. Passed on that
  2. Did some detective work. Google showed the image as coming from a (now defunct) site Royal Court Tibetan Spaniels. That was USA based tibbie pedigree name. Perchance the photo came from old books the webmaster might have had.
  3. Equally great that his Momma's human pack helped too. Yet another great thread.
  4. I agree with you about hoping for the best for the wee girl. Existing content removed to satisfy Danbois.
  5. Can not resist!!!! I guess you mean an Aussie Shepherd for your husband or did you mean Australian male? Soz....just laughing. Another beautiful set of photos.
  6. Can not resist!!!! I guess you mean an Aussie Shepherd for your husband or did you mean Australian male? Soz....just laughing. Another beautoful set of photos.
  7. Yay!!!!! Glad there are just two posts. I can say to BOTH of you what beautiful members of your pack you have shared. Made me smile. Thanks
  8. The WALLET will boggle when the two of them get into mischief, mayhem and destruction. I feel sorry for the puppies. The humans are ...................... (Family forum. Must be genteel)
  9. So excited for you, and the beautiful Rose ( And family)
  10. Rather than start a new thread because my question relates to feeding appropriate bones for a puppy, what are the thoughts on serving the chicken wings frozen? Puppy is the proverbial chow hound/disposal unit. Chomps & eats most foods very quickly. Wondering if 'frozen' might benefit to slow him down. Let him saviour his treat.
  11. Want!!!! Want!!!! Beautiful babies. Look at how healthy they are. (Soz to go off topic)
  12. You really may need to come back and share more photos!!!!! Pretty please, and could you do this? Long term, I am sure your choice has been what is best all around. So now you are on 11 sleeps to Puppy Come Day. Very exciting. ETA: read the full thread VM..... just saw ROSE, what a darling x
  13. All of my dogs but one got necks from about 4 weeks onwards. First 'solids' were BARF in content. I especailly looked for breeders who would supply BARF. Latest puppy, now 14 weeks eats lamb bones, chicken frames, wings, necks. His wee eyes light up when he sees wings in his bowl.
  14. That is fantastic . Encouraging that they helped Ruby. Let's pray it is paid forward for other BSL damaged dogs and families. Thank you again. Your photos are stunning
  15. I tihnk you are pretty spot on. Tight tender belly & increased urination needs more than a glance, imo. (Not a Vet but would want a better definition personally). Hope there has been improvement since the visit.
  16. I agree with this. We have voices. We can talk. We MUST be advocates for our dogs. AMEN ps, beyond thrilled to see the video of RUBY, home.
  17. Looks like an old style French Priest to me :)
  18. Such a wonderful photo. I can understand the greyhound men being envious. Thank you (again) for sharing
  19. Got that  Hopefully this may be what I call an urban myth. Some half baked repeat of grossly inaccurate info being given as real. I was thinking of all the Assistance,Companion & Therphy dogs I have meet in NSW. I have never seen a muzzled Lab. And we all know how they can fit the description of 'large'. DOL will provide a reply thanks to the knowledge of the users.
  20. Such a trite term to say ever. To be unfeeling and speak so poorly at a time of sadness is worse. Although I've only recently joined, it's obvious Kibah is a part of your hear, and never 'just a dog'. I can imagone her pretty nose turning up with a hint of a sneer if she ever heard those words. LOVE
  21. Just to wish you and this lady the best of luck. I have a friend in the USA who has a Vizsla as an assistance dog for their daughter. Hers came to her as a young dog. Obviously the choice will depend on circumstances. Again Good Luck & Thank you for caring
  22. Thanks for bringing this to the attention of people who care. That facebook link did not work for me. I would like to join this group, if possible
