I am hesitant to give them as fleas are not a problem in our home and we have been very lucky with ticks. Will make sure she reads all of this before any administration is thought of. Last spring we planted a Mango tree in our front yard. It will be pruned to suit us and hopefully bear fruit in the coming years. Mandarin x two varieties and orange x two varieties both at different fruiting times. Next I want to plant a Paw-Paw. :)

Thank you for the Facebook prices page. :) It will be well worth the drive from the North to the South West to stock up as we have a big freezer and always buy in bulk. With three dogs in excess of 30kg it is more economical to buy in bulk. At our local wholesale butcher today we payed $7.50/kg for quality coarse pet mince and $2.50/kg for dog bones. Ours have been on this from puppies, when old enough to eat. Have to check with ' she who must be obeyed ' how much we pay for chicken carcass. To buy bulk in variety is so appealing for our hounds. :)

Digger = Cattle dog = shedding hair, highly strung at times, blindness as ageing which he is 10 and almost blind but copes quite well. :) Honey = Ridgeback = food scavenger ( duck,rabbit,possum poo is a treasure on our walks ) the one word from me and I'll do what I want look unless there is food or treats I like. :) Lucky = Red Cattledog mother and Kelpie x Border Collie father. ( Lou his father is a legend working dog in the central west NSW. He was an unplanned and unwanted litter and we took him on and he is the most obedient,loyal,loving and affectionate that you could ask for in a dog. But his shedding of hair and has picked up a touch of highly strungness from Digger. :)

Steph M, what is it that makes possum poo so delicious ? :) Our Honey and Luck-Dog love it !!! :)

We go to offload dog parks around us and generally have no problems. :) We have 3 dogs and pretty much keep to ourselves but socialise with regulars that we have known for years both dogs and humans. :) Digger is very attached and over friendly to humans and hounds he has known since a pup. He is mostly blind but can somehow recognise his friends from a very long distance and smells his way to greet like long lost friends. :)

Not sure to your question but our two boys shed extra hair this time of year, specially at wash times. In summer they are shorn regularly for heat,ticks and shedding of hair inside. :)
