Do you know what sex this dog is, you have called the dog HER & HIM,

Do most small dogs need feeding 2 or 3 meals a day, To stop frothy bile vomits I feed 3 meals a day at 6am - 12, & 6pm, I was just on the phone with my sister, & she leaves a full bowl of dry food down all day, Free feeding her small yorkshire terrier , Pandi loves her food so much I'm sure she would eat it all straight away I followed the ( Stay Loyal ) advice & fed 1 large meal at night, Pandi ate it all, loved the large bowl full , But then felt sick, you could tell she was very uncomfortable all evening So we only did that 1 large meal once, No more trying that advice. Pandi is 2 years old, She is my first dog, I would love some advice for her sake.

I saw Diana on shark tank, she does a fabulous job with this food , & the new Webpage for Frontier is great, looks nice with all the reviews & photos of happy pups on 1 page. Would the butcher make minced turkey necks , or where do i get these minced necks from @crazydoglady99 You sure are a gem, tell me as much about dog nutrition as you like, PLEASE !

Pandi my toy poodle weighs 2.5 kg , feeding Frontier to her little body is easy on the wallet , She must have at least 1 meal a day of dry kibble if not then those anal glands really annoy her alot , Pandi loves Frontier meals the best & if anal glands were no problem it would be for 3 meals a day She must now have 3 meals a day, because she use to, vomit frothy bile if meals were over 7 hours apart, so 3 smaller meals fixed that. Pet Food Reviews has said the Pete evans food is as good as kibble gets & was impressed by it, also Stay Loyal has 5 stars, but the FDA warning about Lentils, Peas, Beet pulp, Potatoes &rice is a worry, so i would rather not feed food with those in. Which dry kibble would you suggest for Pandi, I don't know anymore, I thought if i followed what PFR suggested that was a good thing to do Thanks for the link

@crazydoglady99 could you explain what is not good with the Pete evans food , I was thinking of trying this, because Stay Loyal has peas & lentils in it , FDA warning , don't give these foods , because of heart problems, I would love to feed Frontier pets freeze dried, mixed with warm water every meal, Frontier smells really nice, If I do then my dog starts rubbing her bottom on the floor, maybe add rolled oats into the Frontier meal What would you suggest

I just looked up - The healthy home economist - website, Hydrolyzed yeast extract is a natural form of yeast digest. MSG is a Synthetic form of glutamic acid, not good for you, definitely not the same.

I have been watching with much interest this very topic unfold on Dog Food Advisor Forum There are quite a lot of upset people, not knowing what to feed their dogs anymore

Everyone if you pop over on ( DogForum.com.au ) you will have a better idea of this girl & dog , and her 5 questions . Also note how they respond helpfully , Best not judge so harshly, this girl is trying her best & loves this dog.

@Thistle the dog That answer is lovely, you must be a very kind & caring person, When new members post on DOL it would be great if they stayed on this forum, numbers on here are going down.

I think the OP is a school kid , Concerned about the family dog , her dad wants to be rid of, because dad did not train the dog. I think this kid needs some kind and caring advice, not harsh comments that won't help this dog at all. Please be KIND when new members post a problem, not scare them away with critical harsh words.

@Serket The balanced canine sydney Facebook page has a Kibble Spreadsheet, with great info on protein % from meat sources Stay Loyal small bites has 82% of it's protein from meat

Frontier Pets is a very good food, BUT, Pandi is under 3 kg , she eats little meals , if i had a larger dog i would only feed the Stay Loyal & table scraps.

My little girl loves Stay Loyal small breed as well, I told my sister about it , and got her some for her fussy little Yorkshire Terrier pup, He gobbled it up super fast! The pup was being fed Canidae before, I don't think it was as Tasty as Stay Loyal is, So my sister finally listens to me now I also feed Frontier Pets Pork freeze dried raw in the evening , after adding hot water and soaking for 1 minute ,it makes a lovely warm meal at night. @grizabella are you feeding Frontier Pets anymore, Pandi loves their beef paddywhack chew

@Zena's mum Maybe you need a rest from other peoples dog , for a little while at least. Have some time for yourself, peace & quiet

Hi @Birb Good info about your dogs problems, I'm sure you'll get a lot of help I would look up Pet Food Reviews Australia, and have a look a ( Stay Loyal ) large breed puppy food it has great reviews, For building a healthy PUP with good Behavior Black hawk is known for upset tummy & many Poos, 6 poos a day at 5 months is a lot , It should be about 3 at most.

My Brothers dog ate lots of dirt & mud , the plants had chook poo fertilizer applied the night before !

What do you mean , the dog was pacing, does that mean a sore leg or foot in the dog

Hi @Gwp_owner I think everything with Willow is going so well, what a great job you have done so far with training her , She knows so much at 4 months old. Some people on here love drama & being negative with new members, My mum is from the UK , and calls this the CHAV, attitude . I hope you stay on this Forum it's nice when new people share their dog stories here.

@SmokeyR67 PAGANI a car worth $1.4 million, what a waste of money. Maybe you should look for pups in a shelter or rescue and get your hands on them, take them for a walk & play

Hi @sandgrubber the site has lots of information, if you click on PHOTOS the different topics will display One thing on Balanced Canine I disagree with, they say kibble can only have 28% meat in the formula , post on 1st may, Robert from Stay Loyal told me, via email Stay Loyal has over 45% meat meal in the kibble, with over 80% of the protein in the food coming from meat.
