I use Protexin powder and sprinkle it on Riley's food once a day, Riley has the one with the green label. He was on the soluble which i still just sprinkled on his food and he now has the lower dose which is cheaper. I buy this from vet-n-pet direct.com.au (cheapest place to buy it) It is fantastic stuff. Hope this helps, springdog

I have had the same problem and asked my vet what i could give and she gave me some Dramamine they are travel sickness tablets for children. I give 1/2 a tablet about 15 mins before i travel my dog and no spewing, dribbles, just one happy dog You can buy these from the chemist just ask for the childrens strength.

I tried Thrive D with Riley and had no sucess, Riley had bowel surgery and has a very sensitve digestive system now. I give Riley Protexin powder, a probiotic and this stuff is magic, i get mine from Vet and Pet Direct.

Dru dont know if this will help, As the owner of 4 Springers and having dealt with ear infections in 1 boy as my vet described a zoo in his ears, (yeast, bacteria and rods), he also has sensetive skin and his feet react in winter when they get wet from going outside. I have changed his diet and have found he seems to have been problem free, so far, he is on a wheat free dry food and has very little meat. His dry food is rice based and he has premium mince . Blackwells Travel Calm Ginger Tablets, these are avaliable at the chemist and have worked for my pup, i give her 1/2 tablet at least 30 mins before she travels and she does not spew Good luck

I use Eukanuba light and are very happy with the results. Tried Science Diet and wasted my money.

I have used Glucosamine for my Boxer and i got it from a Health Food Shop without a problem just gave him a small dose to start and gradually built it up to 1 teaspoon once a day, the only thing i has to watch for was if it made him itchy, it didn't. And it was cheaper than some from the vets around $30.00 for 500gram tub. Hope this helps

Go a wire crate, it will last a lifetime, they are much stronger. All my dogs have been crate trained using a wire crate and have not had any problems, my puppies are whelped in a wire puppy pen.

My Springers love seafood and get steamed fish at least once a week, as for prawns they would sit on your tonsils if they could fit My girl will find an empty seat at the table when she gets the smell of our dinner, actually there doesn't have to be an empty seat she will get up behind you and PUSH her way in SPRINGERS LOVE TO EAT
