  1. Sorry I can't help with the cost of Cavaliers in WA but I can answer about the fetching balls. Some do some don't! I've had some ball mad ones over the years but none of my current Cavs will fetch. They all run after the ball and then come back to me to go and get it
  2. Oh I am sorry. Everything crossed he makes a good recovery!
  3. When Ingrid first joined us she didn't just bark when we walked she screamed I did get her out of it but it took a while and lots of patience. She was 18 months old. The moment she screamed we stopped. When she was quiet and calm we'd start again.
  4. Boronia her skin is fine, no itching, scratching or chewing. She really has me mystified! Starkehre I'll give her some pineapple every now and then. As you said it can't hurt and I opened some last night so good timing
  5. No idea if it will help but it sounds like a good idea. Thanks shall give it a try. :)
  6. No she plays but doesn't really grab.
  7. Tatum had to have surgery to have a hairball removed last year when it caused a blockage. Since then I keep a closer eye on her and feed mashed pumpkin every week or so as I've been told that can help prevent problems. Last night I noticed she did a poo with a lot of hair in it. I gave her some oil then and I've given her pumpkin with her breakfast this morning. Hopefully this will head off any problems. I've not dealt with dogs with hairballs before so open to any advice please! I don't know why she's ingesting so much hair. She's not a mad groomer or anything.
  8. Yes I had an oldie who licked the floor obsessively.
  9. Yep another one here watching the thread and wishing good thoughts!
  10. Yes I was going to say the same about not going by the feeding guide on the food. I'd be switching to adult food if he was my pup. Talking to the breeder is a good idea :) a photo would be good ( just cause I love Dobes   )
  11. Fingers and toes crossed for your girl. What an awful thing to happen and you must all be so upset.
  12. Yes I went past the salon the other day and thought of your dear boy.
  13. Oh I didn't know that. We'd just had capsules.
  14. A Mars Coat King is great for thinning out a Cavalier coat.
  15. I don't mind clipping off the belly cause they still look pretty :) I sometimes do Lacey's belly and the inside of her back legs but she still looks good.
  16. You can buy frozen green tripe and also dried that you reconstitute. I've bought frozen from Petbarn and dried from the Natural Pet Store.
  17. Nail polish stinks to us so I can't help but think it would be unbearable to a dogs nose!
  18. Thanks for that. I might see if I can go get some when I've got room in the freezer. I bought some frozen at Petbarn a couple of weeks ago.
  19. I did have one bag with some different kibble in it.
  20. I was thinking the same thing  glad he's okay. I haven't had a bin for years. I have many likely bin raiders!
  21. Mine did well on it for a couple of years and then a couple of them were scratching quite a lot.
  22. Another vote for not sending him away for training.
