  1. Mals E-Cart is the simplest cart I have used, with the most versatility and quickest ease of use. I use it on my website and other sites I have designed. PayPal offer buy it now buttons if you are only selling a couple of things. Zen Cart or Oscommerce are free, supported by a large community and have lots of modules you can add on. Joomla and other CMS sites sometimes have add-ons to their systems. Lots of websites use http://www.optioncart.com/ as their system and sell you designed websites as part of the package. Option Cart looks very good for all the research I have done - and I plan on using it down the track. CubeCart is pretty good too. CongoCart is another system you could look at. Used by lots and lots of small businesses and WAHPs.
  2. I believe the no food or water is due to risk of vomiting and aspiration if the throat closes over..
  3. I wonder whether she will sue Dr Brown when the dog bites someone now that he has confirmed the dog will never be dangerous because he has such peaceful breeds in him... it has nothing to do with training, or socialisation and respectful play or anything... yes, facepalm night for sure!
  4. Ellz, thanks! I'll have a look! CavNRott.. thanks, I will keep that in mind!
  5. I must be searching for the wrong thing, 'cause I could not find any on ebay (my preferred place to get them!)
  6. At a recent dog show I managed to buy a comb with rolling pins and a handle. Then at our party on the weekend one of the kids stood on it and half the pins are now missing, and half of the remainder are bent. The one I bought cost me $10, so I would love to buy something similar again. I won't be going to a dog show for probably a long time, and I am not sure sure had any more of these combs anyway.. so - anyone know where I could get one online/ebay/etc?
  7. Espinay... that is really really sexy! Probably outside of my budget though! And the box I was looking at cost too much for postage/delivery/petrol for pickup.. doh
  8. Sway, that one is cool, but it's a bit more than I want or need I think. I'm actually looking at something on ebay that I might be able to restore. It's wooden, so something a bit different. Looking forward hopefully winning it today!
  9. oh, what a terrible accident! hope he recovers well!
  10. At a dog show last weekend I was introduced to the concept of the aluminum box for grooming and tack supplies for dog stuff. I *really* like the idea for all of my rabbit stuff. I thought about a tackle box, but I kinda like the sexiness of the aluminum cases. But I don't particularly like the price tags on the ones I saw at the dog shows... *gulp* What do you use to carry all of your "stuff" for dog shows/agility/grooming etc... Photos are very welcome!
  11. Spotty - there is enough room for a dally puppy to fit in the middle *ducks and runs*
  12. My thoughts are.. a dally puppy is much more than the regular joe couuld handle - better being in the hands of someone who knows whats they are doing. taking it with the idea about probably rehoming is a nice idea - as long as the current owners think about that too. Though having it for good could work as well. you would have to evaluate. As long as Tango doesn't go backwards I think that with your housing set up, perhaps it could cause issues, however, as long as you can dedicate time it might be worth it. I don't think a dally puppy is good in just any old persons hands... especially someone old, especially if the puppy is destructive at this point in time. I don't think it is completley as crazy as it could be. but it would depend on how your dogs go... and whether you have the time to dedicate to training and rehabilitating... I think at the least it is worth seeing the puppy.
  13. RubyStar, that was the same bit I loved - the back legs :rofl
  14. DO not go to Sydney Uni... Most Expensive Vets for rabbit desexing. in my ring around vets they were $280 plus for a female spay, and not much cheaper for a buck. North Richmond is the cheapest I found with a rabbit specialist. Vet Friends are pretty good $222 for with overnight stay and good knowledge RSPCA ridiculously expensive. I didn't get through to the Animal Welfare League.

  16. I know of a couple chi's that have alopecia in the neck line. Two have it thanks to the collar rubbing, but another is unexplainable. Doesn't harm the dog, it just doesn't look as grand.
  17. I was having a look around tonight at Tear Drop caravans and trailers and came across this photo How cool is that dog trailer? it matches the car too! very cool I think!
  18. Here is a good website for farming rabbits http://www.backyardherds.com - there is a section specifically on Rabbit raising for meat. http://www.homesteadingtoday.com/ is another good one. Both are USA based, but have lots of good information. Most have some that are pets, and others that are for breeding. They give you good practical ideas.

  22. Coffee you say? Roma, Cosi, Indriya, - (Nespresso Pods! haha)
  23. remember - a name for a dog is simply a command. They don't realise it is a name - it just means "Look at me" or "Pay attention" basically.. so if you plan on obedience of any sort, then you'll be giving new commands anyway - what's one extra for a "name"
