Darling girl - I wish I could take your pain away. :hitself:

My words have again deserted me but know I am always here for you and am always thinking of you & Marc.

Your gorgeous Lucy will forever be watching over you.

Run free sweet Lucy - taken far too young....I will remember your sweet smile.

Darling sweet little Lucy, we'll miss seeing new photos and videos of you in the ckcs thread. We've followed your short life for many months now, watching you grow, hearing of your antics and watching videos made by your mum who loved you so completely.

I hope that over the Rainbow Bridge there's the longest beach for you to run free along, chasing seagulls and smiling your huge beautiful smile.

Carla and Marc, you are in my thoughts and my heart is aching for you both. You kindly gave your little girl her wings and now your little angel will watch over you forever.

Oh Carla, I still can't stop crying for you and your precious Lucy.

I was thinking of her today and the song "Lucy in the sky of diamonds" came into my head. Lucy is now a star in heaven who will shine so brightly over you always. I will look out for Lucy's star in the sky.

May Lucy run free in puppy heaven with all the other four-legged angels.

:)

:) Poor baby :)

Ziva died the same way in September, 15 months old

It's such a shock that they can be alive one minute and not in the next

I know what you're going through and I'm so sorry.

RIP little Lucy :):)

I Stood by Your Bed Last Night

I stood by your last night, I came to have a peep.

I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.

I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,

"It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here."

I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,

You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.

I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore.

I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.

I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.

I want to reassure you, that I'm not lying there.

I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key

I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "it's me"

You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.

I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.

It's possible for me, to be so near you everyday.

To say to you with certainty, " I never went away"

You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew...

in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.

The day is over...I smile and watch you yawning

and say "goodnight, God bless, I'll see you in the morning"

And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,

I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side.

I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.

Be patient, live your journey out...then come home to be with me.

Dearest Bellatrix,

my heart is crying for you as I read your post. Take some solace in the fact you had a joyful time with Luci even in the short time she had. In your heart of hearts I am sure you know she is still with you and will be always.

hugs Rae

Hi Carla

I usually don't come into this part of the forum, but it must be a sign. I was your Secret Santa last year and sent you a couple of things for Lucy. I'm so so sorry to hear about what happened. How heartbreaking for you and your husband. Please take care.
