Showing Echo is now a no go so it will be a while until I hit the ring for the first time.

I will still be coming to shows to watch. I will be at the Bulla one on Sunday with my little devil dogs for a day out, cheer some people and take some photos.

Thats a shame Evolving can I ask why? You dont have to answer!

Ah well hang around the shows and learn everything you can! :)

It is the end point of a nasty fall out with her breeder that means she will never be put on the mains register now. There is still heaps I can do with her and she enjoys going to shows for a sticky beak. She is a little psycho though.

It does give me a good excuse to get a new puppy in the near future. :)

I did go to Bulla today and for proof here is Bindii's Fletcher practicing before going into the ring.

Awww Evolving  That's sad. Oh well, I hope you get a new show baby soon.

Shame I didn't get to see you, I was between Ring 2 for Littlehoot's pug and Spikespuppy's Borders and catching up with Lappiemum and her brood .

I'm loving all the company now!

And yes another puppy what a wonderful excuse, think you will stick with the breed?

I spent most of my time with Lappiemum maybe I came a little late as i waited for the rain to stop before I went there this morning.

Little hoot was that you with the pug baby that I was telling Echo she could not play with because she does not play nice with little puppies?

It is true she was playing body slam with Tasha and Fletcher today.

Yes I will stick with Lappies. I can't go past them now. I just have to wait for Echo to mature a little bit and possibly grow out of her wild ways ( I may be dreaming). Maybe agility will tire her out.

Yay!! Fletchie photos in all my favourite threads!

Had an awesome day today (sorry for those who have already read it elsewhere) going Reserve Dog Challenge with 40 Samoyeds entered! *plus* a young man who behaved himself!

edit: Thank you Sammy!!

LOL yup body slamming was good (glad to hear it wasn't just Fletcher's bad influence!)

Glad you've found yourself a little group LOTG, it really is all about the socialising, and when you find people you just click with it makes it extra fun! I cant wait to show this weekend and catch up with all of our little group.

I had to work hard to keep Echo away from all the nice white dogs today. I did not want to be hung and quartered for messing up someones show dog's coat.

Not a Samoyed fan

But thank you extra special much for the compliment then :driving:

He's 100% house dog as I plan to always have my Sammies! Makes it easy to keep them white. Even when he spends his day times outside playing in the dirt, it brushes out easily. The yellow staining comes from those on concrete that urinate, it dries, and then they lie on the concrete. Those that live in grass/dirt yards generally come up sparkling white after a bath. Also remember that some Samoyeds are biscuit or have biscuit colouring (often more so as they age, say, over 7 years) and that might appear "dirty" but is actually something that is part of the breed and is becoming increasingly rare due to the concept that they should all be snow white! ... or so i've been told! All I know is that I, myself, have an inside dog who is pure white

Do you have white carpet and white lounges, Bindii?? Fletcher is looking very nice! How old is he now? I told Greg today that Stella may always be a house dog also as she is so little, but he assures me I'll change my mind once the coat starts coming out.

We picked up our doggie trailer today - it is beautiful, and BIG! It is 4 berth but I think it is actually longer than my horse float as it just fits in the shed. We had a little issue as it had a different electrical plug to what was on the back of our car but Greg organised an adaptor and off we went.

The lady who owned it previously had Vislas, and we met one that belonged to her friend - :driving: :driving: :D Think I could stretch myself over 3 rings???

Here are a couple of pics of Stella taken at my Mum & Dad's today. We've got her first show on Friday week, so have lots of training to do. And my baby boy, Dragon, is in Minors this coming weekend. All growed up!

Ash,

I haven't entered that - had looked at it but not done anything. Has it closed yet? I think that's Moree Kennel Club?

You and your mum need a terrier now so that you have something to do on your way up from Toys to Hounds and Gundogs!

Not sure whether it is completely classed as hitting the ring for the first time, but this coming Saturday Aubrey will be trialing for the first time for JD :(

Some days she is with it, some days she is stubborn, let's see which Aubrey turns up on Saturday

It is at the Agility Dog Club of SA ;)

Um no dont think we will be doing the more one, theres another, coonabarabran show? its closed friday I think we have only just sent our entries thou so you could still get an entry in if you wanted.

Not sure about the moree shows, if I do go I'd be on my own and not sure if I could do 3 rings, plus the weekend after I will be at gilgandra by myself as well! Well not exactly by myself kristy and Andy are going to that one too I think then we have rylestone and gulgong/mudgee! Not sure if there are any local ones in between that but if there is we will also be at them!

As for a terrier, I'm not really into terriers but if I HAD to Id get a border Terrier...my fave dog at work is a BT and I just cant describe how wonderful he is!
