Greyhounds buffet dinner for anyone interested in coming along. Wed night (28th April) @ 7pm.

OzJen, I will book tomorrow morning to give anyone else a chance if they wanna come, though I think we're probably at our peak now

If we can't get in, fallback plan is Sizzlers (Riverton?) @ 7pm.

I vote Houndees.

:vomit::vomit:

I was about to ask where that was and then I realised you mean't the greyhounds.

It's like those people who say they're going to the "Caz"... I'm like wha???? They're like "the Casino"

It took me about 5 years to realise the 'Cass' and Burswood Casino were the same thing, I always thought the 'Cass' was some pub in the City

Shows how much I go out

I thought things had to be "cool" to get a shortened name... I think the Casino is as boring as batpoo. But hey that's just me :(

Guest RosieFT

RS - hope i can swap too. I am happy to scribe (can't be as bad as dressage pencilling can it?) but would really prefer to have a trial run without people from all around australia calling for my blood if i stuff up!! LOL... so a local show would be a better start. How fast does it all go? have i got it correct in thinking.. dog goes on course and if going clear no signal from judge, if dog knocks jump - fault?? dog runs out of jump - refusal... hmm waht else is there? 3 refusals is dq? i imagine it all happens pretty quickly right?

Amypie - haha strategic gumby with special extra gumby handler LOL. I have done no training of late as it is a little difficult in a courtyard in north freo LOL. My dog has had a new experience, unfortunately and is is SO excited about the whole thing.

I am staying right near to Pier 21 in north freo, and am literally 25m from river.. so lovely walking around here. There is a sports oval and a river and.... LOTS OF RABBITS! ugh... since the rabbits appeared my dad has been dying to bring rosie down for a look. hmmmmmm. Anyway, had not seen any rabbits, but lots of starts of burrows and lots of scent. Rosie been sniffing herself stupid. Well last night OH and dad took the dogs for last walk of the night at around 10pm. A rabbit came boinging out and then disappeared. Rosie was going crazy sniffing trying to find it.. OH was desperately trying to catch her to no avail. Then silly rabbit makes a break for it... 5m from rosie. apparantly, neither of them have ever seen a dog move so fast. She was flat out and about 2cm from rabbits tail - rabbit swerved and dived into burrow... Rosie did a rowfff in frustration and then leapt into the air. The burrows are in the base of a huge rock/limestone wall that runs along edge of beach and rosie was flat out chasing rabbit until it went into burrow and she had to leap the wall.

super dog leapt.. legs straight out in front of her over this wall and onto the beach... proceeded to sniff around the burrows, and then march into the river up to her neck to cool off - at 10pm at night.

lets just say rabbits are now even more exciting than ducks. ball? what ball. no ball she has ever seen can move THAT fast.

RosieFT, scribing for agility is much easier than dressage pencilling (it is pretty well the same as showjumping pencilling) :vomit: No comments to write and the judge confirms the number of faults at the end of the round

I really want to go and watch the puppies tomorrow night :vomit: But am feeling crap tonight so am skipping training and going to bed early instead and I think the same thing will happen tomorrow  I will NOT be sick for the National! Although I didn't feel sick until I ate a Magnum Gold icecream... do you think that could cause a bad headache, sore throat and tight chest? :(

Mason's Mom, why don't you drive to my place and then come with me down to Cannington for dinner tomorrow night? Less driving for you that way :D

And of course with my company, the time will just fly! :)

Where exactly is the entrance to the Cannington Greyhounds anyway? I have only driven past a million times, never actually been there.

That sounds like the best rocky road ever!!

I don't like peanuts or coconut in it either, and I usually chop up a bag of snakes and add it in :) Health food!

I can live with a small amount of coconut but peanuts are just wrong! Both your versions sound awesome!! Is there going to be any left for Friday? :D

I'll go to the shops Thurs night and pick up the stuff to make the honeycomb slice, but I take no responsibility if it turns out inedible! I should be there at a respectable hour on Friday thanks to my car being booked in for a service that day too.

GR - Entry is off Station St which is off Albany Hwy, Cannington.
