Hmm...not sure I could come up with 10...cats I can, but not sure about dogs.

1. Lappie (the next dog I want).

2. Alaskan Malamute (dog I always wanted but will never own).

3. Samoyed (a recent addition, thanks to the Spitz Breed show!)

4. Cocker Spaniel (have fostered 4 and I love them).

5. Cavalier (a MAYBE...was my fave breed till I found lappies).

6. Golden Retriever.

I think that's about it.

When I was a kid, I always wanted an Irish Setter, a Dally and a Rottie.....

My how things change.

My top ten would probably be, not necessarily in order:

Dogue de bordeaux

English Mastiff

Neapolitan mastiff

English bulldog

Great Dane

Shih tzu

Staffordshire bull terrier

doberman

french bulldog

newfoundland

There are many more I would have, but over the years these are the breeds that always turn over in my mind

In no particualr order I would have to say:

Rottweiler (own one now)

Siberian Husky (own one now)

Alaskan Malamute (have owned one)

Bichon Frise (have owned one)

Labrador

Border Collie

Maltese

That's all I can think of at the moment but I am sure as I keep meeting new dogs at the local dog park that I will love more breeds as I go!!

This is hard! Based on looks and personalities...I have always wanted a dobermann - had friends that had one when I was younger and he was the sweetest most easy going dog, but with terrific obedience. So smart as well. I met one the other day - she was the donor dog at our local vet and she was doing her job as 'door greeter' - big brown and tan girl, and so placid!

1. Dobermann

2. Springer Spaniels

3. Boxer

4. English Staffordshire Terrier

5. Cocker Spaniel

6. Koolie

7. Golden Retriever

8. Saluki

9. Irish Red Setter

10. Germnan Shorthaired Pointer
