Sorry if I've missed it but do you have a photo of Pooh? Then we can all look :)

ETA Stevie's favourite is a (gutted) flopsy dog. We have two but I think it's time to stock up on a couple more, if they're still around. She likes to carry them both but then leaves them out in mud (and hail).

Thanks so much both of you - I will take a picture of him tomorrow and post it. All the op shops around me are out of stock but there are a couple who are on the lookout. She has had loads of them and had four of them at once at one time, but one got lost when she took it to the specialist hospital, we think she dropped one out of the car at Nudgee Beach, another got chomped (definitely not on purpose)! So she is on lucky last. I have no idea what is so compelling about this particular model but no other Pooh will do!

Grumpette!

I swear you make me want to go adopt a Rottie. I'm in so much love.

Oh God, if Ernie and Zeph teamed up the universe would be in a whole world of conflicted pain. Cuteness overload and dastardly deeds. Snuggles and love, or rolled eyes, shaking heads and terse words.

Life would be extremely interesting and never dull.

I think she's telling me I didn't feed her, which is not true.

I might not have fed her as much as she'd like - that's probably true.

I cooked corned silverside for dinner tonight. At the end of dinner Dee bought over her mad cow to swap for a chance to lick the plate. Not to be outdone, Zeph went and got the biggest tube that he could find and brought it over for me to fill. So not happening my boy.

Haha grumpette, live the nacho.

I'm in for a great Pooh hunt. I have three local recycling shops that stock toys.

One of Dee's favourite treats.

I would also love to help out in the Pooh hunt.

Baylee had a Tigger teddy that was her favourite toy. She slept with it every night for 11 and 1/2 years. We tried to replace it when it started getting little fleaing holes in it, but could never find the right one. We eventually gave up, and only gently hand washed him instead of machine washing.

My puppy has to endure this crazy chase game where I fling a fluffy, tassely thing on a string and a stick around until she catches it then she has to play tug of all things with it before being forced to let go of it and start again. She hates it so much her eyes go like giant saucers every time she sees the toy....its horrible!!

I just found that tho' "pup" loves my grand daughter, she draws the line at me giving away her toys. I bought her a ball, not realising it had flashing lights when bounced and it is too small cos she CAN bit down hard enough to puncture it where the flashy bit sits so ended up putting it up. When G.D visited, D commented she wanted to get her a a toy with lights so I got it down, (washed well!) and gave it to her. Pup was NOT impressed! Gave us all a very dirty look as she tried to take it back. I have promised her a bigger one she can't puncture.

Absolutely loving this post, we have a toy box for all the dog toys, bones, chews, balls etc. When i clear the floor to wash and vacuum they watch me put the toys in the box and then run to get one or two out while i am trying to clean the floor. So funny to watch them take toys out and place beside them beside the box to find the one old bone at the bottom that they want to chew. Our 11 y.o. JRT loves golf balls, we have heaps around but can guarantee the one he wants to play with is behind the piano or a long way under the couch. He sits and stares at the spot, grunting and whining until we find the exact ball he wants, even if there are two or three under there, unless the correct one is retrieved he will not budge, you would think we were wilfully leaving HIS favourite under there - they are all white golf balls so no idea how he tells them apart.

We put draft stoppers (the material ones full of sawdust) along the front of couches and piano to stop balls and bones going under but sometimes one still manages to get passed and hide.

Okay, to those kind people who said they would Pooh hunt, here is the Pooh Bear, he is about a foot tall in old money or I am guessing nearly 14 centimetres? He is not as orange as a lot of Pooh's h is more of a yellow tan kind of colour, and has dark brown plush nose, eyes and brows. He doesn't have button eyes they are stitched. He has no seeds beans in him just stuffing. (I have seen the inside LOL). Oh he also has a very rounded tummy.

Grumpette, I have a soft floppy Tigger that is just a bit bigger than Pooh, it is not identical to yours, but very similar and I am happy to send it if you think it would do? I will post a picture in a minute.

Pooh has been loaded onto the phone for future reference while Op Shopping.

Thank you so much for the offer of Tigger. Unfortunately, Baylee passed away at the end of 2013, so we don't require a new Tigger anymore.

Right pooh hunt is on.

Are Rotties just the most obliging photo op dogs or do you always have a camera handy grumpette. I love the crazy eyes.

Jakes latest round of suffering involved having me sleep on his derrière. He was first in bed and laid himself across the pillows. I'm not too discerning so just plonked my head down on whatever cushy space was available. Nice and toasty warm it was.

Sorry Grumpette I knew she had passed, I didn't realise she was the only one who played with it. I hope it didn't upset you.
