  1. Scary! maybe a cramp ... running after a meal is not a great idea Could have been some thing stuck somewhere ... or, yes, it may have been a trapped gas bubble ..or nausea ...that's all I can think of ..
  2. :) Poor boy - little does he know how many people have been concentrating on his little gonads .
  3. Just do something different, and post it :)
  4. Jelly ... sending you many thoughts of comfort and support ....
  5. thanks :) Anyone else 'play around" and want to share?
  6. There's a candle alight here tonight
  7. Was this your pup's first time around a group of other dogs ? How has he been during socialisation with friends' dogs, etc ? How old is he again? ..a also think another class/club may be a better 'fit' for you & your pup :)
  8. Instinct guides them to the freshest source , of course :)
  9. :) You are having fun! :) Good to see you experimenting . My eyes prefer the ones with less blue in them ....the first image in last post seems to be the one which is most balanced to me . Well Done!
  10. Using sagelight......and always trying new things....a different way of looking at what's in the viewfinder..
  11. Wow ! Such a beautiful Deck Ornament :) I think she should have a blog!! ;)
  12. ;) unless you have been privy to an awful lot of vet consults ..the truth or falsity of these observations cannot be proven . There are vets who think many overweight dogs are just 'well covered' , and seem to have no concerns .... or think roly poly puppies are wonderful ...
  13. or .. the person received the advice they were seeking, and doesn't feel a need to come back ? :)
  14. The poor little soul - thank Dog she is now free from all the ghoulish publicity and stresses of just keeping alive. be happy and whole, Rosie .
  15. Unless you are a friend, or professional who works with said dog .. comments about weight/condition being less than perfect are impolite and uncalled for .... being so passionate, maybe casual information sessions at public venues ... with folks who are qualified .just to talk with dog owners who are interested, but may be unaware, might be something you can help organise
  16. Your baby will continue to toilet as & when he needs ... he has no idea of 'mistakes' , as his voluntary control is just not there yet. ;) he is also very little to go up & down more than a couple of steps many times a day ..so , perhaps set up a toilet area of fake grass on the pavers ..so at least he will get used to the feel of grass instead of stone/concrete as a cue to toilet .
  17. ..and I would suggest buying an attractive looking larger crate..big enough for him to sit up in and stretch out with room to spare .. .. perhaps a 'soft crate' to use as his bed ;) It can have door open ..or closed and may come in handy when he has to be kept quiet after surgery .. when he needs to be out of the way for whatever reason.and for training purposes . See it as an indoor 'den' for him ..somewhere to chew treats/have quiet time etc ...
  18. Thanks, CC .... I so miss our 'goodnight ritual' every night ..Dougal only came on my bed that first night ... he prefers to sleep out in the cat run ...
  19. Oops .. nowhere near the SE ... sorry.
  20. Thank you katdogs. yes ... a legend in his own lifetime :)
  21. he is a BABY ..and has LOTS to learn before he masters so many of those skills , like not paying attention to things .... His brain is instinctively telling him to LOOK< EXPLORE>SMELL> TASTE>FEEL be patient ... he has little concept yet, and his brain is growing and changing as you look!
  22. LOL!! Unfortunately, Vitamin S is addictive, and can change a normally well mannered pup into one who will stop at nothing to obtain a 'fix' It is best to provide something which will give the dog a fix .. without being so dangerous . the following, with a similar effect to Vitamin S can be easily administered , and , with complete withdrawl from the Vit.S , can still provide a dose of a comparable reaction.
