!!!!!!!! Just because she's large and DOG aggressive does not mean she would even HUNT ..even if you wanted to do this to her . Dogs for pig hunting are usually bred for their hunting abilities..not just random large dogs they really have to have skills and be , ermm, good at working with other dogs , usually. (yes, I do know something of pig dogs) Folks I know work dogs in pairs, mostly ....

I'm glad she didn't get anywhere. That vet may not have been a cheery 'people' person. I have known one good vet like that ..grumpy and very 'short' with clients, but a terrific vet. He had a huge clientele..people knew how good he was.

We use a lot of supercoat puppy , plus fresh food ..pups seem to do Ok with it . My thoughts are if it is not the entire diet- why not? if dogs are getting fresh and good quality wet food..I'd be doing it .

I know of one in particular who is an inner city dog ..she is perfect around others ..goes beach playing /dog parks , etc ...is now 8 and has never been in a spat . they are around, just gotta pick a good breeder

It sounds a very complicated life for a dog ...I suggest you visit people who have both breeds and see them in action , so you get to know what they are like. Also make sure you double check on accompanied flying permissions . You will need to do a LOT of training to get your dog used to all these things - being so confined, travel, great crowds of people, being quiet, the very restrictive toileting arrangements . YOU will need to understand dogs quite well to carry out this training . Ensure you do your homework thoroughly .

Actually, a tractor tyre just lying down provides much fun ..it can be climbed into/run around inside of /curled up in/jumped over/hidden in ...run around and around .....I've seen it done it is also the WARMEST spot in Winter!
