Oh gosh..I have just so very many ........ One that sprang to mind was of my absolutely gorgeous Kieran ..who was a 'pig dog'..daneXdeerhoundX ? 42 kg.scruffer. He was fascinated by rabbits ..and one day caught one . he brought it to me ..must have shifted his grip ...rabbit squealed, Kieran dropped it , and then ran to hide behind my legs!!! :D It was so funny . Kieran is also the only dog I've had who slept on my bed ....but not all the time , and mostly in Winter, where he would lie along my back ..and provide a wonderful warm comfort if I was feeling not the best . I also remember walking kieran thru a crowded mall ..and he was feeling very mellow and happy, so he gently took a lady by the hand and walked along with her - tail wagging happily ...funny thing was, the lady did not appreciate it .At all He used to often walk me like this ..ever so gently....

That's possibly for young pups ? 12 hrs is really only overnight - which most dogs do every single day :)

even if you think it may be worms ... the rule is to NEVER worm a sick dog (unless it's done by a vet) I hope she gets some help tomorrow ..and no food tonight will not harm her at all - but it WILL give her poor gut a rest and a chance to start healing :)

Bilious Vomiting Syndrome In Dogs
persephone replied to ChewieTAG's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
:) have you ever had anaesthetic? It can make you feel quite odd and disoriented and it is a bit upsetting when arms&legs don't work the way you want :p Just leave him quiet ....and no, he will not need food tonight.... unless he is absolutely wide awake as normal. Make sure he is somewhere safe-- so he doesn't try to walk down steps, or jump onto things . -

I also wish Captions were permitted ... it helps . Anyway ..amazing countryside!! I like number 3 A lot. There is lots to rest my eye on ..and with a bit of tweaking .. that little log area can be helped along, I'm sure. Technically wise- I have NO idea, sorry ..I just know which one I came back to . :)

Maybe ....... ..she also needs to be TAUGHT which items she can have .. and crating her won't really do this ... if she is, however attached to you via a lead ..you can be there to guide her ..and channel her activity /interest into things she IS allowed :) You also both get to know each other's moves/body language really well .

Cherry Eye Or Conjunctivitis?
persephone replied to RiverStar-Aura's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I usually soak a tissue or swab in saline , and rip it gently into the corner ..with my hand in the centre of dog's head .. obviously cold liquid is a shock .. so room temp or SLIGHTLY warm is more comfortable :) -
Sorry you lost your mate ... she leave you with so many warm and comforting memories to help with the physical loss ...

:) IF he will chew on them :p a lot of dogs are sensible and refuse to chew on synthetic toys ,(which are mostly marketed to be appealing to the human eye , by the way) ....... Will he chew on an apple? (wash, but leave peel on). he can also play with apples ..roll them around and chase them like balls ..and then sit down & have a nibble ! I love using them as puppy toys . -

cottage cheese is really not classed as 'something to chew' If you are interested in learning more about what foods contain the nutrients needed ...and read about other's experience in feeding all sorts of diets .. CLICK HERE :) Snowy is lucky having such a concerned owner... but just remember , worrying does neither of you a favour .... -

I have been thinking of you today ...and am glad you have heard from Jane at least. Good luck to you and all your furries ..hope you now have a period of peace . -
So - she does it while you're there? Little horror :p does she have a really special treat ball or chew object that she could only have when inside ?

Either third or second for portrait :) I love the second one, actually! That first one has so many great angles/shadows! ..and interesting broken windows ..old poles with porcelain insulators- lots of good stuff! :) What happens when you crop certain areas to get those angles featured? Does it look different ?
