;) I bet most Mums don't say that about their juvenile delinquent kids! You have a million opportunities to play with her, and love her, and cuddle her ..just now ON YOUR TERMS ...not hers. She is not the one who makes the decisions..all things in the house are YOURS ..and she does not get to decide what is to be chewed or sat upon, or eaten ;)

That is such a great loss - not only to the keepers, but the population I hope it is 'only' something like mould in food, or a plant toxin ..and not an illness which may spread.

Rotate toys... dogs, like kids, have short attention spans, and will get bored .They also need firm boundaries and rules. wash all the toys, store them away, and, every couple of days, pick up the used, and replace with 'new ' ;) close doors to rooms easily damaged. provide her with cardboard cartons /gladwrap rolls etc to rip up. feed all dry food in a treat ball or similar. be consistent with Nothing In Life Is Free She would be confined to the yard/one room if she were doing that in my house.

It sounds as if she is unwell...- write down EVERYTHING. VIDEO her staring /pacing (don't talk to her..just observe/record. and maybe see another vet, or take to a University Teaching clinic/hospital? Best of luck with it ....

Hope your dog will be ok. I guess the vet told you to keep her quiet, and to avoid knocks/bumps /bruises? Also no hard bones etc which may cut gums... AFAIK vit. K is given to HELP blood clot ... but it is still very wise to try & avoid injuries ... Best of luck with the results :)

I think if you are concerned about escalating problems.. you need a 1: 1 session with a good recommended trainer or behaviourist , like K9 pro , or maybe someone on D O L has used someone in your area?

.... ;) two of the most aggressive dogs I have know have shown no really noticeable things like salivating a lot ..they just come in like a missile.

i would ask another opinion. Unfortunately, it may be that ,at his age , his body is wearing down ....and his muscle tone has changed ..or there may well be another cause.
