  1. Well done! I was next to you with the Toller, I loved how shocked you where! :D Puppy - Golden (owned by kirst_goldens) You're correct, neuter was won by a Golden. Can't remember anything else Too hot!
  2. Tollers have been dropped as well  Not that it matters, I have my numbers :D
  3. I will actually be able to make it, very pleased, my neuter boy loves the show ring!
  4. Congrats on the Rally passes, I want to go and see a trial and see what they do, it seems to have a big following so should be interesting!
  5. I've received my numbers yesterday :)
  6. I am not offended by your post as I agree with some of it but I will say I HAVE been in this exact position with my beloved dog on the vets table getting put to sleep from biting my face so my answer comes from personal experience :) This dog was desexed, raised the same as my current three, taken to training, exercised daily and yet was an aggressive little dog who had bitten 2 family members previously on the hands when they were patting him. He was the family dog at the start, and towards the end became my dog as I was the only one willing to look after him. I am not telling the OP to say PTS, everyone makes their own decisions........but I do wonder how many that have responded saying "rehabilitate" have actually been bitten on the face by their dog and know that there is now no way that you will ever trust that dog again. ETA: I am actually shocked that people are suggesting giving the dog to a rescue group. Why? There are so many nice dogs that have never ever bitten anything that need homes and people want to save one that has bitten it's owner on the face? I usually agree with most posts on this forum but this is ridiculous. Rescue groups shouldn't be even touching dogs like this!
  7. PTS Never would I rehome, and never would I trust a dog that has bitten me again. Personal experience and I have a scar on my face to prove it, I have never and will never tolerate aggression towards me or family members again.
  8. Action dogs I think we go back 15th of February, hopefully someone will come along with a more definate answer :D
  9. Thanks everyone for their comments, she is a very special little girl. She ended up getting her Flyball Dog title and then her Flyball Dog Excellence as her team did nearly all clean runs and won a big bulk of them. I couldn't have asked for a better first competition for her :D
  10. Thanks :D She is nearly 18 months now, time has flown though she will always be my baby :p
  11. Jovi had her official debut to flyball racing today, and she ran 99% flawlessly all day! (dropped a ball once) She raced nearly all day so very very very proud of her and towards the end she started to "get it" and what comps are, several times she managed to catch and then pass the last dog on the other team for the win. Kinda weird having a dog that is faster back than down! We ended up coming first in their division so was an awesome start to her career in the sport :D Darcy once again ran perfectly and very much enjoyed have a little 7 inch height dog in the team rather than having to jump full heights, the good boy he always gives me his all.......like father like daughter :D
  12. I was watching the young man handle Dyzney, and she was very well behaved and tried her best. I thought the young guy wasn't entirely sure how to handle a big dog that trots as fast as he runs but seeing as he had only handled pugs and then given a Rottie I understand now! He no doubt have very proud parents and Dyzney a very proud owner and rightly so. :D ETA: He did look very professional and I loved his shoes haha
  13. If I end up going I will be heading up from Victoria as well and will be entered in Novice as well Same here, though I am hoping she gets at least one comp in before hand, she handles new situations very well and usually trains inside a horse arena thing but I would like to have a trial before jumping in the deep end with her
  14. Well that's crap, I asked if they could be posted so I could leave and they said it was too expensive so had no choice but too wait till they were done. Not sure if someone has mentioned but group 5 neuter was a Welsh Corgi. Didn't see any other groups sorry
  15. Yes, Group 2, 4, 6 and 7 were all done. Toys were still being judged but group 3 and 5 which were being done by the same person and they hadn't even started group 3 an hour after the group was finished. If you are going to volunteer though at least make sure you do your job within a reasonable amount of time and properly. Like I mentioned I know they are volunteers but the time waiting was ridiculous and the way it was dealt with was messy and unorganised. No other show has ever made me feel like I did at this show.
  16. They are gorgeous, they look so squishable
  17. I was waiting for another hour after you guys left, got told they would be 5 minutes......longest 5 minutes of my life! I was expecting to be home at 12 seeing as we finished showing at 11 but didn't arrive until just before 3. I know that you usually have to wait for a little bit for the ticket writers to finish the last few breeds but really? 2 hours? I am not that patient at the best of times
  18. Show potential at a day old? Maybe I read it wrong, but I took it too mean that the puppy they eventually pick will (hopefully) be show potential. The breeder may have sent photos so they could look at markings and colours not so they could pick their puppy now. ETA: I find it interesting that some can pick a show potential puppy at birth, is this something you pick up after several litters or just a knack that you either have or not?
  19. Group 3 BIG: English Setter RuIG: Cocker Baby: Lab Inter: BIG and RU Neuter: Springer Missed all the other ones even though I was in three of them Must say I was very disappointed having too wait 2 hours for certificates and the behaviour of the initial person writing the challenges, extremely rude person. Then being told that no they won't send them out as it was too expensive so had too wait for them. Spent more time waiting for the challenges then actually showing! Left me never wanting to go back as it was very poorly run and alot of people not happy, ended up talking to a nice man who assured me next year would be different and it's the first time they have used 'outside' ticket writers and would never do it again due too all the stuff ups. Yes I know they are all volunteers, but hell I would have offered to write out my groups if it was going to take that long and never speak to fellow exhibitors in such a disgusting way. ETA: So that was negative, will end on a positive! Thanks for the club for offering the neuter class, it was very well supported and lovely seeing more of a line up for the class then alot of the other classes.
  20. I am so pleased, it's awesome how many are entered and those 9 might be brand new exhibitors! Well done to the club for offering the classes!
  21. I only entered because of the class as well. I don't really like showing in summer but want to support the class. I don't think I can make Cranbourne but I still entered my dogs because of the class. An amazing entry!!! So very pleased with that!!
  22. Just wanted to say thanks for starting this thread, as my brother is about to start looking for a Stafford and I wasn't entirely sure of the pricing.....I was guessing around $1000. I am just glad he doesn't like the blues at all and much prefers a really dark black brindle, so hopefully can find a nice lovely pup later this year. Any breeder recommendations for Victoria? Mainly because it's their first dog and will want to meet the breeder, their dogs and puppies before getting one. (I think I have trained him well :p)
  23. Awesome Dyzney, hopefully there is a few neuters entered so the club offers it again next year! :D I've entered three but lost my handler now, should be fun juggling and trying to find someone for run offs
  24. I have entered as well! (Go the neuters :p) Have received my numbers as well.
