Depends on where you board & the added extras some kennels ask North of the River is way more expensive than South of the river. Different area,s have different council regulations so kennels can vary When getting prices ask what it includes & then go visit & visit all kinds irrespective of price to see what is out there march is also a busy time of the year & still hot so keep that in mind when looking & remember there is a long weekend in March that books fast so if covery the 4/7 March be quick Prices normally go up kennel wise(start of jan) but i would work on $22/23 including food.all exercise & a bath if over the set few days The main thing is you shouldnt have to pay for outside time

Your Definition Of A Proper Socialised Dog
Dogsfevr replied to W Sibs's topic in General Dog Discussion
Whilst it sounds good in principal i dont think its the simple. No matter what you have to consider breed specific needs & then train apparently & have a realistic understanding of what that breeds limitations may be & act responsibly . Not all breeds by nature are social butterflies & that must always be remembered . You cant compare apples to oranges -
we have showdogs/boarding kennels & grooming salon & we have no fleas & we dont treat our dogs either. I see no point adding chemicals just in case. If am travelling to a show where the risk is high then i will take precautions but otherwise nope never use the stuff BUT i appreciate some people & states have a bigger issue & need to do so for prevention issues

the sad reality is this will occur over & over again as pet shops sell unsterilized dogs to same minded people to continue breeding with no clue on lines, quality of the dogs & not be bound by any COE for what the produce. As for the papers i wouldnt believe anything there. I remember a case here where a pet shop got hold of some papers & placed them in the window stating they where the parents Lets just say the Pet shop didnt fair well when the breeder was informed & could prove the papers did not match the pups. As for a vet nurses, of late the worst foor waniting to do unethical breeding are vets & vet nurses because remember many of these pet shops have vets who support them

Each batch of 14 bands, includes 7 different colours for easy visual identification. Each band has a unique code number printed on it. This removes the risk of mis-identifying different wearers Each band is 26.5cm long Cost: A set of 14 - 2 of each colour is $7 including postage.

In labs litters cant be registered unless scores have been done And it doesn't matter how bad those scores are so long as they have been done. Yes that is true BUT they still have to be done

having placed ads in the paper i can safely say the people at the other end make major spelling issues despite it being spelt out. The ad is wrong but the spelling mistakes are more the papers fault

Yep spent nearly $8000 for a dog that is now in a pet home ,spayed. All health tests done but a total lemon.

Gooey Eyes In My Lagotto Pup!
Dogsfevr replied to mygirlruby's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
have you asked the breeder?? Did you go back to the vet when the product didnt seem to work well?? Did the pup have issues when you picked it up?/ We have seen dogs with gooey eyes who play in mulch -
I agree new . If the breed has such few breeders as you say then you have to start somewhere. When you on a list for 7 years with no successful matings are you saying not one bitch has fallen pregnant? As you would be fully aware there is no guarantee even if you import for a healthy pup so you would have to seriously weigh up the expense & risk there alone. The pups breed here would have to have serious issue before i headed done that path & just brought from overseas & one is presuming these breeders stock have come from overseas if the breed is relatively new ??

Generally one would follow the diet sheet given by the breeder. Did your breeder give you one & what did they suggest?? Minis need a diet high in essential fatty acids for the skin/coat -
I gather this person doesnt show ,it sounds like it was just a litter to have. veteran or not we choose to mate our bitches,we then have to make arrangements to be there when the time comes or provide an alternative that is suitable. 4 live pups where born so no i wouldnt offer a refund/re service & certainly not with the situation that supposedly happen. As a stud dog owner i too have ethics as to what i deem suitable

If you enteryou generally get two passes can work out cheaper ?? So I should enter a dog, then scratch them, just to get a cheaper entry ticket? That's a good way If the pass system is the same as last year the passes can only be used for the day your have entered,so if you do scratch you could only attend that day irrespective

My Maltese Is Getting De-sexed Tomorrow :(
Dogsfevr replied to Sasha (Alexander)'s topic in General Dog Discussion
That is your personal feelings . I am a female & have no urge to be a mother. We have had bitches here who would have killed there pups given a chance & one did & others who are obsessive & those who are great. Female doesnt equate to wanting babies & i can guarantee of the many bitches we have owned many would never have been good mothers nor those who havent had litters damaged by being spayed. People need to seperate there own emotions to what is reality. -
If the flight has also been planned with a stop over that can help. Our guys from Belgium did a stop over at one of the Pet centres to get out & about before continuing on
-
Maybe a body could not be brought back but an alive dog can. this also applies if you are flying domestically as well, you cant bring a deceased dog back unless cremated
