  1. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss RIP beautiful Ruby
  2. If you can PM or email it to me I might be able to fix it.
  3. There are a few places in the Brisbane region with hydrotherapy treadmills.
  4. I will be watching this thread with interest - I am currently in the process of lead training my 12 week old Jap Spitz puppy and he falls into the 'hard work' category He likes to chew the lead and do crocodile rolls - and isn't interested in food rewards when there is something far more interesting like a lead to play with!
  5. Oh borzoimom, I'm so so sorry to hear that RIP beautiful Femka
  6. What a lovely tribute to a beautiful girl. Run free at the bridge
  7. Very cute I hope you have a lot of fun with her
  8. Oh god, what a horrible way to lose your pet RIP Roxy ;)
  9. Thanks Rysup Shell - I don't actually have a bath yet  But I am considering buying one which needs a pump replacement. Just trying to figure out what it's going to cost me!
  10. I hope you stick around Michelle  My first pup came home at 5-6 weeks of age, back then I had no idea about the benefits of a pup remaining with his mother and littermates until at least 8 weeks. I purchased him sight unseen from a breeder who lived a long distance from me. In the photographs she sent he was a beautiful healthy looking animal. The actually pup that arrived was small, sickly and underweight. He came from a dodgy backyard breeder, who wasn't registered and most certainly didn't health test her dogs... hell, she didn't even worm them! The fact is we all have to start somewhere. Back then I had no clue about these sorts of things. No-one is born knowing everything
  11. Thanks Shell  Davey Pumps has quoted me $450 for the pump itself, but Mavlab (who manufacture the bath, which is a Conmurra) sell the same pump for $295. They've quoted $200 in labour for their electrician to fit it. Having said that, my Dad is friends with a sparky who lives next door to him, so I think I might get in touch and see if it's something he could do.
  12. Has anyone had a hydrobath pump replaced? Was it difficult or expensive to have the pump fitted, and was the pump itself expensive? Thanks
  13. Gorgeous little puppers, congrats!! Must be great to have them here finally after the stress you went through with Kinta's pregnancy!! Now you can relax and enjoy the cute little bubbas.
  14. Oh no Hugs to Hamlet. I hope you manage a good nights sleep, and that he is feeling better in the morning.
  15. Sorry for your loss Run free Teddy
  16. I bought one of these for my pup, he loves it On his first night home I microwaved it and put it in his crate and he snuggled up to it. I don't microwave it much anymore, but he likes to chew on it and cuddle with it.
  17. Thank you bozthepup, and I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Boz at such a tragically young age RIP boys
  18. Thanks for the lovely words guys.
  19. Great pics everyone I especially love yours Rocco - so much character to them! One day I will work up the courage to enter the DOL photo challenge, looks like a lot of fun.
  20. I know this is Snap's thread but thanks for the tip Ashanali My new pup is white, and I have a lot of trouble photographing him without getting those really glarey bits!
  21. Run free little man, you were taken far too soon. Earlier this week my mum, stepdad and two young siblings lost their beloved Charlie. He was involved in a tragic accident and his spine was badly fractured. Sadly there was absolutely nothing that could be done for him, and he was given his wings. Charlie had only just turned 4 years old, and leaves behind not only his very distraught family but also his litter brother Moet. Can't write much more, too many tears. Goodbye Charlie xx Moet (left) and Charlie (right) at home in Queenstown, NZ.
  22. I've got my new puppy on Advance as that is what he was raised on. If he continues to do well on it, then I'll keep feeding it.
