so is it safe now to roar at them you stupid bloody mongrels!!!! or should you wait a bit longer. That's how I would feel, wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry.

I thought it was to do with the card, but apparently not, the Canon 7D really is wonderful for action.

I forgot to mention, you have to get brave and start exploring all those extra functions in MENU It's truly mind boggling, well it is to me.

 It really does require a fair amount of committment to learn. I didn't buy books but I read the manual, and alot on POTN and I took alot of action photos and experimented. There's still some things I'm not sure if I have set in the best configuration, even last race meeting I was chopping and changing settings, except now I forget which ones worked better. I told MnDm alot of the settings I use at the races when we were together and I can see it helped her photos alot, but overall, it's probably better to figure it out yourself. The other thing you will have to do eventually is get a longer lens. I'm sure you're saving up for it now.

IF they go down hill, it can happen fast.... havent stopped thinking of you guys, please keep us updated Presuming (hoping!) they are still on IV Fluids. IF they go down hill, it can happen fast.... havent stopped thinking of you guys, please keep us updated Yep, they're still on IV fluids until blood results prove that they can be taken off them. They seem fine, but that's with constant care, if there is something wrong that's not yet determined, they could easily crash very fast. and not something you want to happen home thanks for explaining, I didn't realise they were still being supported by IV fluids, I just had visions of these happy naughty waggy tailed dogs being kept at the vets. I'm still hoping for the best and checking umpteen times per days. Looking forward to you getting the all clear.

If they seem OK why cant you take them home and then if they show signs of sickness, or if the bloods come back bad take them back then?

is it cheaper than this? If so please let me know. I'll be interested to see what you think of it. http://www.eglobaldigitalcameras.com.au/canon-ef-40mm-f-2.8-stm-lens.html here's the archive thread from POTN http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1198048&page=3

I was wondering about this too, also if the puppy has been regularly wormed.

I reckon it must be at least 20 years since I've walked the lanes of Melbourne, maybe even more.

I think this has more to do with the size and/or capacity of your card.
-
 I was wondering if it was something like that. I can just imagine.

I've got some of each and I dont really differentiate their personalities based on sex, they're just all individuals to me. I suppose with mine, they boys are more playful and active, but they're younger too.

I'd love to come if you weren't so far away. I love photographing running/racing dogs!
