Because that makes too much sense.

I was taking pics on the weekend with my 7D. I had it on high speed continuous TV priority. I noticed it often would change the aperture in a succession of shots when the conditions were the same. I realise if I'd had it all set on manual this wouldn't happen but I'm not so experienced I can judge the right settings. I was hoping the camera would get it right. Not sure if I am explaining this properly. Here's an example TV1600 AV 4.0 and a split second after TV1600 AV 2.8 I dont know it I am doing something wrong or there's a problem with the camera.

Whippet Fun Day Healesville
Kirislin replied to Kirislin's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
That was quick! I've just done the group email with a bit of a rundown of the day. Photobucket isn't as good quality wise as flickr or redbubble. If you like I can put some pics on flickr for you and they will be better quality, then you can use them as you please. I think I've had to crop them a bit too much for use on redbubble. this must be your boy then too -
Whippet Fun Day Healesville
Kirislin replied to Kirislin's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
We had our first Saturday fun day and it clashed with the biggest whippet show of the year so we were worried about getting the numbers. We needn't have worried. Another great day. Here's a few pics. http://s212.photobucket.com/albums/cc71/yv...mview=slideshow -
I use the Canon program DPP

If the dog has been allowed to roam and/or the road is directly in front of its house it may well see the road as part of its property. Definitely! I was bailed up in my own paddock a couple of years ago by a wandering dog. I used to see it roaming my paddock most days, it thought of it as its territory, and I was the tresspasser. That was a terrible experience for you, I hope they catch the dog.

Yep, I thought of wily coyote about to get an anvil dropped on his head or similar, that kind of noise.

I love the tough guy Sarge in blue and the ever so feminine Banshee in mauve the best. All beautifully done though.

good idea, yes there'd be alot here who might not have seen it yet. That's where I made my little avatar. ;) We all went nuts on it for a few days didn't we :D tlc, I think my fave is the one of Cooper. here's the old thread, there's some really good ones in there. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?show...p;hl=photofunia

bloody marvellous, I've been on a daily dose for years now and my Dr hasn't said a thing about it, just keep re newing the prescription. There's no cure for me and I assumed I would be on it for the rest of my life purely to be able to funciton.

Does any one know what the song and artist are on the world of eos clip? the one showing last years brief. I really like it.

I might have to take a photo of my whippets with pricked ears cause that's what they did when I played it. It creates some weird harmonics when you whistle along with it.

When both my girls were pregnant I could see puppies moving. Have you ever seen or felt puppies moving in there when you lay your flat hand on her.

also off topic, my darling Kibie has Oakway bloodlines :D

What Is She!? And Whats Wrong With Her Skin?
Kirislin replied to Megs's topic in General Dog Discussion
She doesn't look awful and mangy and sick, she just looks unique to me. What a very special little girl. -
I think you are on the right track. Ash gave us the painting with light challenge last year. go have a look here, lots of pages to scroll through, it was a popular challenge. http://www.dolforums.com.au/index.php?showtopic=170704 and there's a flickr group too that might give you some ideas and understanding http://www.flickr.com/groups/stilllifeinlightpainting/pool/

Is she as skinny as this? I cared for this little dog over Christmas and as you can see she was dreadfully thin. She was an extremely fussy eater and didn't like what her owners were giving her and preferred to go hungry. I got about 2.5 kilos onto her while she was with me but it took a bit of work, plus I had the advantage of competition feeding which her owners didn't. I changed the dry food they were giving her as well as offering the cooked loaf I make for my dogs. After I'd got her to eat that I fed her a chicken wing which she loved. I only offered it last though, so she'd already have eaten the other stuff first. with your girl dont worry about getting minced carcasses, give them whole, she will crunch them up. some lines of whippets can be very thin for about the first 2.5 years, I had one here like that but she's normal now. The little one I've pictured is actually a half sister to my once skinny girl so I think with her, it's a combination of being pre-disposed to being skinny plus not liking the food her owners were giving. I should add, that skinny little girl was incredibly active and lively, I truly dont know where she got the energy from but apart from looking like a hatrack I think she was basically healthy.

the sound bite wouldn't work for me either.
