  1. No no, you must be wrong, it really is an assblowing stud..............whatever that is.
  2. Sigh, small things amuse small minds I saw this and have to admit I thought it was amusing, really stupid, but amusing anyway.
  3. I think you're talking about Feather, that's her little tongue :D
  4. too funny Sparky, that cat looks like it's thinking to itself, Idiot, he's lucky I dont tear his face off.
  5. do you know, when I was writing it I thought to myself I bet Iltby has some beauties! That king parrot is amazing, it almost glows. I love the softness in this one of Penny. I think it adds to her looking soft and kind, which she is sometimes, but she didn't race under the name of Little Savage for nothing either. 50mm @ 1.4 I think 100mm Macro @ 2.8
  6. Someone asked what is bokeh? I am no expert!! but I thought it might be good to have a thread dedicated to your favourite bokeh shots. I'd never heard the word until about a year ago although I knew I loved certain photos with that amazing shallow depth of field. The Japanese have certainly made an art form of it, there's good and bad bokeh. I dont know if I am discerning enough to know the difference, although I have to say I have seen some stunning and mesmerising photos taken with the 85mm 1.2 which is reknowned for it's ability to produce beautiful bokeh. Here's one I liked, taken with the 70-200mm @ 2.8 I quite like this one too although the whole pic is a bit washed out. It was taken with the notoriously crappy 75-300 non IS @ 5.6
  7. Have we already got a blooper thread? apologies if we have, I feel like there might be, anyway here's a couple from today. I wanted to get Tag clearing the rail but Pucky was busy disrespecting other peoples property. and this would've been a good action shot of Feather giving Tag a hiding except (once again) Pucky had to spoil it. I see a pattern here.
  8. My guess is Quinces! Do they ripen to big yellow things with pink flesh. they're very good stewed. the second ones are nectarines as has already been said.
  9. I dont think Wendy was intentional but the worry is that some people want to create lines with this mutant gene, and it would be a very bad thing. Those are not healthy dogs.
  10. I exaggerated the contrast in this on zoom browser, the program that comes with the camera. Probably got a bit carried away. It looks kinda gloomy, I could imagine alot of creepy crawlies hiding in there.
  11. Yes dog geek, I dont think we have it here yet, and I hope it never gets in. It's not a good thing. They used to be called "bully whippets" They often also have a shorter under jaw. I think it's been seen in greyhounds too.
  12. woo hooo, I love this lens. congrats
  13. Thanks, I need to keep at it to get him really sharp in focus but the other 4 whippets were going crazy wanting to come out when they realised what was going on in the backyard.
  14. If he'll match an online price I'd go with him. Now, off you go to find the absolute cheapest price.....
  15. It must be great to live so close to that beach tlc. How far is it from your home? I used to live on the beach just out of Mackay, it was lovely, I'd go for walks in the morning and see tracks where the turtles had come up overnight to lay their eggs. I just didn't like the stingers.
  16. here's todays pic/s, a sequence of Pucky speaking on command. Whippets aren't known as a vocal breed but the tendency for him to speak has been passed down through his dam line. I always remember when I was considering buying Penny, her breeder said she will speak to me, same as her mum did, and he was right!
  17. What a cute goofy boy, but that doesn't look like the water bucket, I think it's the feed bin.
  18. If it was an Iggy you'd call that colour seal.
  19. Ummmm someone needs to tell him they're just pretendy sausages, not real.
  20. I love the first 2 Shell. Many years ago I trekked my horses through some of the country near Oberon, I recall I rode through a place called Edith, and Ginkin? the three of us were very alone and a long way from home. I remember places looked like that first shot. I love the dog too, what were you filming for?
  21. My whippets would be cat killers so I always have them on a lead when I go to the vet just in case. Some clients even take their cats to the vet just held in their arms, it's something you have to assume will be there I think, and take precautions against the others stupidity.
