  1. ok we are not talking pulling ears, but ear hair. I have owned poodles for 20 yrs and well have always pulled hair from the ear to 'keep them clean'. I had my fair share of irritant ears. With my current poodles (not currently shown) I trim the ear hair to clear them up- less fuss, less ear hassles with inflammation. What is the current opinion (I have had differing vet opinions) do you pluck or less is best?

  4. What position have you adopted to get a choice aspect on your pic. As a beginner I tend to stand/crouch....but is that enough? Just interested if this is another dimension I could add to my photos that I could be missing...any funny stories of of course welcome!

  6. My friends dog Amber shes such a honey! She was a shelter pup, they went looking for a staffy cross and got her (more ridgy cross id say) Hiding with us out in the shade I Love the way she sits...unusual and uncomfortable looking She believes shes a lapdog! One of these is day 30. Kirslin there is nothing boring about greys and whippets I love them! Weibritty lovely colors. Love the shot of Alchemy. Tlc "mr cool dude" is my fav, but they are all good. AnnieK is a grey- enough said! Quick edit- just saw your horse pick, very handsome poocow.
  7. Thanks Am...took alot of sitting around to get a shot- its a swallow. I never knew they had colors! When I usually see them they are whizzing past in a blur.

  10. heartbreaking..........just heartbreaking. Thinking of you redz please dont feel like you did anything wrong....we have all fretted when our babies fly from home.
  11. How sad for all concerned....thoughts with you all. I lost my lovely dobe to bloat....I felt powerless ...was enough for me to move from the breed.
  12. Ok thought id get in earlier today. Saw this little fellow on my walk. Would have buckleys of getting an action shot...gezzzzzz fast lil birdies these are! Will be my day 29 shot (unless I find better!)

TN great pic- Pink hair would be popular in paediatrics id imagine. TLC I love skyshots- I have so many of them all interesting in their own way. Wow this has been a busy month.

  19. Love the self portrait fluffypaws....trust me I wont bow to the pressure. TLC great series of ball play- I have tried the throw point shoot- end up falling over and getting grass/sky shots. Love the sour worms I so want some ...now. Love the blackboard shot- just lovely. Sweet 'walking' shot Huga. My contribution for 25th... The dog next door looking at me playing with my furkids. All I hear is a whimper and the thud thud thud of the tail against the fence from the other side. I think he wants attention too.....he thinks life looks fun on my side of the fence. Makes me feel guilty to see his face. He looks sad.
