When we were out walking the other day, Daisy my little Westie stopped and ate some long coarse-looking grass growing in the vacant block we cross that is next door to home...that was ok, but a minute or two later she was sneezing and running round in circles and carrying on like a pork chop, I calmed her down, then she had this gi-normus sneeze and this 15 cm (or thereabouts) blade of grass shot out of one nostril...gave me a bit of a fright! Anyhow, I pulled the rest of it out and she thought I had saved her life and did zoomies up and down the driveway when we got home.

You have a point Souff & JulesP, I think the reason I was shocked is that the ad was on the 'Freecycle' site which is for people to give away items that they think may be useful to others, rather than take them to the dump.

Ok Chewbacca,thanks, I did that...sent them the Pet Rescue & RSPCA (yes them!) puppy factory/farm links, and also sent her your suggestion regarding de-sexing. Pewithers... I didn't suggest to Cath that she contact the people she bought/got/ them from as I reckon that they may have been glad to see the back of them.

I have sent her a link to NSW Husky rescue...perhaps they can point her in the right direction and suggest a solution to re-homing that doesn't involve being conned by unscrupulous byb's or puppy factories. Can anyone here suggest a rescue-type-solution that I can pass onto her?

Can someone post a link to the Qld Siberian Husky rescue...I will email the owner (that'd be Cath-the-trustworthy-dog-owner) the details...at least that may be a positive step.
