That is terrible, I really feel for you. I am so glad that the dogs are safe I had my unit broken into twice while I was sleeping (needless to say I moved) they only took mobile phones and a watch, basically stuff laying around. The only advice I can give you is this, if you start to feel some fear creeping into your life from this event then then please talk to someone who cares for you about how you feel and get all your thoughts about it out and discuss it. I waited far to long and allowed my irrational thoughts to affect me very strongly. I now have a very hard time sleeping when my OH is away and lay awake feeling scared. Having Yuki has eased it a bit, but I think if I had talked to someone right away I might have been able to control it, now the feelings are very hard to overcome because I have stewed on it internally for far to long. I am very glad that you and your dogs are safe and sound, you are so right, that is absolutely the number one most important thing, everything else can be replaced.

don't know if it helps, but here are my business cards Business cards I don't think there is a problem with black. I went with .com not because having an ABN etc was a pain (I already got one) because I wanted to be open to international work and I did not think that.au was that important. I think .au is more important to people who want to work only in Aus, or large businesses who have multiple domains across the world and want to mark one country's site from the others. Ultimately it is up to you, but I would not fret to much over the decision I do not think that going either way will make or break you =]

lol, my OH would have a fit if I made cake just for Yuki =] But I am sure yuki would not mind, and would love some meatloaf, I never would have thought of yogurt and she has never had it (well not from us, maybe in a previous life) so will have to see how she likes it and if I am more organised next year I might make a doggy cake and a human cake. Maybe by next year she will have made friends with another dog and she could share it =] Banana cake might be the go, she does like a bit of banana so she would probably love it especially with some cream cheese icing. Thanks for the ideas, now I just need to get some bananas and party hats

So it will be time to celebrate Yuki living with us for a year very soon and I was thinking about making her a cake. Any recipies or varieties that are 100% safe for dogs?

pc is personal computer, but it also generally refers to a windows machine so they are really referring to the Operating System type rather then the machine type, because a Linux box is generally referred to as well a Linux box even though they Linux is run on a pc type machine rather then a mac ;p

if you paste it into an empty doco, or a new pica in Gimp or paint then you can save it as a JPEG and or bmp

I have these special pencils that are supposed to work on cloth so you can paint something, never painted in my life, but I could do a bit of experimenting and possible paint a doggy or two on some squares (ok maybe, having never painted it would be a case of trial and error)

lol my mum tapped the dining table when Yuki first went to visit them, i can't remeber why she did it but she got quite a shock when agile as hell Yuki landed on the table right next to her. Needless to say i whipped her straight off the table in horror. Luckly my parents thought it was very funny and never tapped the table again ;p Not really a slappable offence, because i guess she thought Mum was calling her up there ;p
