  1. Funny how people who are in the wrong, automatically go on the defence/attack straight away. Hopefully he won't have to learn the hard way.
  2. Oh Indigirl I am so sorry to hear of Reg's passing. Take comfort in the fact that you and Reg's owner tried as hard as you could. Thinking of you all in this difficult time. Rest easy now Reg. :D
  3. What a handsome boy. Thinking of your family Sirius. Play happily at the bridge.
  4. What a cool collection you have there Persephone. Triceratops is so cute, and beautifully photographed in your first post! Thanks for sharing.
  5. [quote name='redangel' date='1st Feb 2010 - 07:23 PM' post='4301186 I wish to contest your claim however....he did NOT destroy his bed... He merely Reno-vated it ;) :D :D ;)
  6. That's great news IG. Thanks for keeping us all updated. Keep on improving Reg. Will continue to think of you all.
  7. Oh look at that innocent face! My boy Kody also destroyed a few soft fluffy type of beds as a pup. I am lucky that he doesn't do to the ones inside the house. I have now purchased a heavy duty bed for day time use outside from Kennel Solutions which is absolutely fantastic. Renos sure does look like he had some fun
  8. Just found this thread. IG, you really are a true friend. Reg and his owner are lucky to have you to help them through this very difficult, emotional and scary time. You all will be in my thoughts, and I will be watching this thread, waiting for good news. c'mon Reg, you can beat this!
  9. What a horrible thing to have happened. How that woman could walk away is beyond me! :D Hopefully David makes a speedy recovery - however I am sure both he and his dog will be traumatised by this event for a very long time.
  10. Love the pics, thanks for sharing! Now I only wish I could get my boy to accept cats and not want to chase them down and eat them....... I love cats so I would be in heaven!
  11. These words just break my heart. I should know better than to read these things at work by now. I hope both men are punished extensively for this!
  12. What a topic! My Kody is a walker too! As a puppy I thought that he may have been having trouble, however he is now 18 months old and still does it. I also note that some days his stools can be a little softer than usual, even though he eats the same food each day. I have not been too concerned by this however, as he seems to be healthy and happy.
  13. Poor kittens! Such a cruel man, I hope he is punished dearly!
  14. Glad to see that they are obviously getting on really well. Looks like a match made in heaven to me. I love looking at your photos of the two furkids.
  15. Makes me every time I read this. I know I am so lucky to have such wonderful pets in my life, if only everyone could appreciate and love their animals as they should.

  17. I hope they manage to track this poor excuse for a human down and he pays dearly for his cruel actions! Makes me absolutely sick! http://www.news.com.au/national/bullmastif...r-1225819142476 Boof the dog was left with a 30kg chain around its neck attached to a concrete block. Picture: RSPCA Man 'beat dog with metal pole' Left in summer heat with 30kg chain RSPCA hunting owner THE RSPCA is hunting the owner of a bullmastiff-cross who allegedly left the dog to die in summer heat with a 30kg chain wrapped around its neck after beating it with a steel bar, punching it and trying to break its legs. Neighbours say two-year-old Boof was also kicked and stomped on by its north Queensland owner during two days of torture before they called authorities, Cairns.com.au reports. Neighbour Gordon Shelton said that after he saw the dog being "jumped on" he waited until the owner went to work, retrieved the animal and called the RSPCA. "I witnessed the next door neighbour beating the dog with steel or a metal pole. He was laying into him fairly well," he said. "The next morning I heard the dog howling and saw him physically punching the dog and he had one leg crossed over the other and he was pulling at them trying to break them. Once the dog was on the ground he started stomping on it very badly and at that stage I yelled ‘Cut it out’. Animal cruelty inspectors arrived shortly after and found a large industrial chain around the dog’s neck which was tied to two concrete building blocks, weighing 50kg in total. The dog was struggling to stand during 31C heat. RSPCA Far Northern regional inspector Cameron Buswell believed the man had fled Queensland and said Boof would have died if left in his condition. 18. Very interesting. Thanks for posting. Can't wait until I have some spare time to watch the rest.
  19. Thanks for posting this Atua. Beautiful lyrics and beautifully sung.
  20. What an amazing dog! Austin is so lucky to have a friend like Angel looking out for him. So glad that everyone is ok.
  21. Definitely appointments for me. I could not think of anything worse than having to wait for an unknown amount of time in a potentially very busy waiting room with my boy. I like the fact that my vets run by appointments, and if it is an emergency they are always willing to make time for us. By making an appointment I usually get to book a time so that I get the vet of my choice (the practice has four very good vets, however I have my favourite, and where possible I will schedule an appointment with him )
  22. Great photos Becandcharch. Bandit and Charche look like they will be great friends! Glad to hear that Bandit is settling in so well.
