  1. I was spoilt and got a new lens for my birthday - the Sigma f2.8 70-200mm EX DG OS HSM :D I took it out for a test run today, so here are some of the first pics - all C&C gratefully received. I am lacking in confidence when it come to post processing, so all advice welcome - be brutal, I can take it :laugh: eta - hmmmm they look a bit dark on my iPad, do they look too dark to you? Fun at the local dog beach :D

  9. Another vote for the 17-70 :D The OS on it is great too - this is handheld indoors with natural light, exposure 1/30 ! and I don't have the steadiest of hands :laugh:
  10. Not sure if Cheyletiella mites are present here in Oz, but a few years ago my cocker had an ongoing bout of what I thought was dandruff. After taking him to the vets to be checked, I found out it was Cheyletiella mites - also know as 'walking dandruff'! A regime of Frontline spray-on, and washing with a shampoo they gave me soon got it under control. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheyletiella Hope you get to the root of the problem soon :)

  15. I love Holly&Lil and all my dogs had their collars back in the UK, from the mud and sea loving spaniel, to the more refined Cresties :laugh: http://www.hollyandlil.co.uk/ They custom made these two for the Cresties :)

  19. It's usually a time thing with me too, but on the whole I think the responses on here are pretty good. Can we ask what the other forum is, always interested in other photo forums :) Maybe we should start a C&C thread in the tips and techniques section, as I too would really appreciate some honest critique on some of my photos :) Never too late to jump in kritta :D
